Simplysafe is the bomb

First, it is fairly narrow and in my case didn't completely cover the holes from the original doorbell that it replaced. I had to install it on a wall 90 degrees from the door as there was no way to move it from the existing location without major stucco repair work. At this angle it only triggers about 80% of the time. Not sure if the angle is the issue or if it is just the way it operates. I have read other people have the same issue even with it mounted on the same wall as the door. I bought this as part of the Simply Safe alarm sysytem. To actually view recordings of activity you have to pay for the higher priced monitoring service as well. So all the $15/mo advertising does NOT include video doorbell recordings. Separate review for the alarm system....
