The hotspot is a AP-AC Pro. I could not get either doorbell to hit good signal unless the hotspot was placed about 5 feet from the doorbell. House is stick built with vinyl siding. I run a Ubiquiti doorbell at my house with no problems and similar setup except steel siding. Seems Simy Safe has a weak wifi setup in the doorbell. I would suggest thinking twice before buying unless you can put a repeater right near doorbell.
