    I got it on sale and exceeds expectations. I am glad they implemented the app which makes life waaayyyy easier than before. No complaints so far. This 17 piece deal is the way to go in my opinion.

    I was able to get this on sale. You can’t go wrong with SimpliSafe. The 17 starter set is good one to go with just have to add the siren and maybe another glass break sensor.

    The products themselves work great. The app is intuitive and setting everything up is a breeze. My issue is that, although it says the professional monitoring is optional, they dont tell you theres almost ZERO functionality without paying for one of their subscriptions. Want to schedule your system to arm and disarm? Gotta pay. Want it to work with alexa or google assistant, gotta pay. Overall, I’m grateful for the peace of mind it’ll bring when I’m away from home but I’m not sure I would recommend.
