One of my favorite features are on allmof the interior cameras, they all have a privacy shutter on them so it is clear to see when the cameras are being used to record.

Posted .Yes, SMS notifications do require an active Monitoring Plan. However, if you choose not to have service, and as long as you have WiFi at your location, you can still set up Push Notifications through the SimpliSafe App on your phone.
