It worked for about an hour

I opened a support case with SiriusXM and they said that they would ship a new one. I waited a couple of weeks but it never came. I called again and they said that they did not have a record of my support case. I was fed up because I had paid my bill but couldn't possibly use the service. I asked to stop service and they gave me the run around and we got disconnected. I called again to cancel service and after 30 minutes of them trying to get me to extend service they finally gave up on me and closed my account. Now I have a radio that I cannot use for anything.

Reminiscent of a 70's boom box
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My husband bought me the radio for Christmas without realizing a speaker was needed to play it. I couldn't figure out what to do except buy this piece of equipment which is just like an old boom box. I didn't realize it works like a satellite dish and needs to have a wire out the window to get reception. Sirius should certainly be able to come up with better way. Now I realize I can just pay to stream live on my phone anytime, no radio or speakers needed. I sure do like listening to Sirius XM Radio though!

great product that did not work for me
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had satellite radio since the beginning of XM. I use to have the old Delphi skyfi model with the portable boombox for it. I never had any trouble with that boombox until it wore out. Now I have the Onyx Plus, so I finally bought this boombox. My first one I bought powered up but did not power the tuner and my tuner worked fine in my car kit. I exchanged it and the 2nd one work for a week then after work I turned it on and the tuner did not power on. When I called Sirius-xm they could help and didn't understand why. All they thought to do was refresh the signal, which doesn't help if the tuner is not on. I exchanged it a 3rd time, but this time it acted like the 1st one, it powered on but didn't power the tuner. My cell plugged in the aux jack work fine but my tuner didn't. I tried a 4th time but this time I tried it in the store and still nothing. the boombox powered up but would not turn on the tuner which worked fin in my car kit. It made crackling noise but nothing happened. I am going to email Sirius-xm to complain and see what they say. I hope something comes of it and I get a working one soon.

Disappointed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There was no power cord and the spool on the back for the antenna broke off immediately. Not what I’ve come to expect from BesyBuy.

Docked Radio turned off & on by itself
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have a compatible radio SiriusXM Onyx Plus which works fine in my car but turns off & on by itself (not the SD2). Power fine and correctly installed the carriage adapter. Returned the unit.
