A: This appears to be a common problem. I had to return this product 3 times before I received the combination that worked properly. I enjoyed very good reception for 1 year. Now the home dock is giving me troubles. I have one radio which I switch to the car and have not had any problems in the car. I thought that maybe the home antenna so I replaced it and had the same problem of the unit silencing itself. The home dock combination has not been moved from its original location; but, signal strength drops from 3 to 1 bar and then goes silent. I contacted Sirius and was advised to take it to a radio repair shop for diagnostics in order to determine what is causing problem.
Q: does the device have blue tooth? I'd like pair additional speakers with it.
A: Unfortunately it doesn't have Bluetooth capabilities. That would make it outstanding. That would rate 5 stars
