    Still no quote after more than a week...

    They guys that came to my house were fine. They were professional, polite, and seemed to know what they were talking about. The two star review is because its been over a week and I have yet to recive a quote for the work that I want done. I cannot get a hold of anyone by phone and my emails go unanswered. I guess I will start this process over with another company. This is really frustrating...

    I didn’t have any service today. I canceled the service appointment 2 weeks ago, as my son fixed y speaker problems.

    Never received report/recommendations directly from the Geek Squad person who came out. Had to call in to get copy of report, and it still wasn’t complete.

    TV cords a long time problem.

    The technician tidied up many nuisance electric cords in the back & tried to remove them from view of anyone facing the t -v. The power strip style box he taped on the back of the t-v did not hold. Why? Because the heat from the t-v caused the velcrox glue to not hold. Thus, I paid for a service that did not work or last. What consideration do I get for this? It cost $50 for the job alone.

    first site evaluation - no show. re-scheduled- agent came on time, very knowledgeable. Went to store, bought soundbar and speaker stands. Got email, said install had to be rescheduled. Called; reason was the stands were unavailable; I was asked to choose another product. I did that and paid; 20 min later got another email saying the product was also unavailable. Got refund and rescheduled install; they didn't show, after I took the day off work. Called; was told the install had. been rescheduled -- but I hadn't been told, Re-scheduled again; this time they did the install, quickly, gave me insufficient instructions as to how to operate the equipment. Equipment is now working fine but it took at least 4 calls and a lost day of work. They're going to have to do better than that,

    They were able to install my new universal remote. But they only have very basic knowledge of complex systems and what is available and what is not.

    Geek squad did not show up despite multiple attemo

    No response from them despite making multiple attempts . No installation done. Someone sent a novice third party vendor to install my TV . That person could not figure it out . Geek squad cancelled on me 2 Times. Third time they asked me put in Sanus wall mount unit. I had to call an electrician and a handy man to do that . After that they did not return my multiple attempts . I think Best Buy is trying to cut cost and using these third party vendors more than geek squad . I am done buying things from Best Buy . Ir’s better to buy online and then work something out on your own . Such a disappointment . Now it’s third month and tv still not installed

    technical did a good review of my house. but no one got back to me on their quote. he was there about an hour and no one ever gave me a quote for the installation

    Can't even believe you want me to rate this. I had purchased a security cameras wireless for the outside and inside of my home and set up installation for November 13,2023. I then had to change the date to November 16,2023 due to the installers i wanted to have put my system in since they were here and we layed out exactly where i wanted them. Well November 16 come and no installation people. My installation window was for 9:30-1:30. I called and it took 45mins only to find out i would have to reschedule again,even though it was theie fault. So i just canceled my over1200.00 purchase. I will find a new place to buy it. Definitely not from Best Buy. Very poor service and employee help.

    I left my computer for updates and removal of viruses. I was told it would be ready in 1 week. About one week later, I went to pick it up. I was told Geek Squad had removed one virus but no updates were conducted due to the lack of space in my computer. However, upon advising them that I have plenty of space because all my files are in an external drive, All I got was well .....you can leave it again and I will put it in our notes to see what we can do. WHAT??? Anyway, person who was assisting me was super nice but not very helpful. In this situation, I don't need nice. I need knowledgeable!! I guess Total Tech support basically means nothing because instead calling me once Geek Squad thought I didn't have enough space, they let me wait for a week to tell me that there was nothing they could do. Lack of communication is a huge problem! A simple call would have made a huge difference as I would have explained I have an external drive. However, I got they could further look into the problem if I left it an additional week. REALLY? I need my computer. I am not BestBuywhere I have plenty of computers and work on my stuff in another computer. I was so disappointed that I didn't renew my Total Tech support. SAVE YOUR Money!!!

    Technician was very good onsite - he promised to email site survey details - took a week to get the information and only after several calls to the store.

    They listened to my requests for where I wanted cameras in my house. He told me that they will send me an email with how much it would cost to install, and the best type of security system to get for what I am looking for. Well, it has been a week now, and still no email. I have tried calling twice, with one voicemail, and no call back. So maybe I will just install myself. So the stars review is because of no follow up with me.

    They did not check my dvd/blue ray to see if it worked properly before they left and I didn't have sound to the bluray - only the dvd setup.
