Camera installation

That was a couple weeks ago. I have left a few messages and received no response.

Geek Squad NEVER showed up!!!

They came, took some notes and said they would send me a quote for the work. I never received the quote. I visited store to get the quote and was told a different crew needed to come and reassess what I needed and they would give me the quote. They were supposed to send me an email to schedule my in-house visit. I never received it. Now, I’m on a time crunch and I still haven’t received notification or service. This is poor communication and poor customer service.

He did not install my equipmnet.

He did not offer any suggestion. He did not show me an alternative way out. He was very indifference. Geek Squad employe are use to this kind of attitude. They stick to their policy and find no other way to apply pastorally and with understanding.

Sent an email with questions and never heard back. It’s like you guys don’t want us to buy anything we were prepared to buy whatever was recommended.

palm desert store manager never called me back

I came into the store met with the mgr.( Raul ?) who set up a time for the geek squad to come out and review on site which they did. . Everything was ready to go but the mgr needed to locate an amplifier at another store because the Palm Desert store didn't have it on hand. I tried calling and leaving voice messages / texting & emailing the mgr for well over a week and a half to get an update on the status and received zero response so I went to a competitor and made the purchase.

Neither did the geek squad person that came out :(

Cancelled on me twice

Gave me a 12 hour timeframe to wait for them. Then I got them to narrow it down to four hours. I don't have a lot of faith that I'm going to get the help I need, but if they can redeem themselves

In home consultation - do not recommend!

Additionally, we were told that our consultant, Kiron, would follow up with us in 30 days and again at 60 days after installation. Our TV panel ended up being defective which showed up <45 after installation. Our calls/emails to our consultant and his manager went unanswered. Buyer Beware....Luckily LG covered the panel under their warranty. We likely are done with Best Buy after this experience.

Losers!

Now that the part is available, the Geek Squad refuses to finish the job because NOW they've decided none of them can go in the attic and connect a cable and fish it down to the TV. After a 2 hour run around on the phone, ending with being disconnected, I will never do business with Best Buy or Geek Squad again. What a pitiful bunch of losers you are!

Geek squad site review

No one ever got back to me with the proposal, I have been left hanging. I even called and got hold of Albert the person who did the sight review and he said I would hear back by 5:00 that day. It didn’t happen and it has been another week. It has now been close to a month???

Site survey to install outdoor speakers

The price quoted was to bury the wires and enter the house through the crawl space an up through the floor in the family room to my receiver. When the installers came they informed me that they don’t bury the wires and that I had to do it myself or hire someone else. I should have been notified about that with the quote because I turned down other quotes which were a little higher.

Very upset long time custoner.

Had to have anoth service xa.l to fix. Subwoofer l not putting any sound, ear phones not hooked up. All if which in the hone review I was told would work . Will not return phone calls . Still have earphones, subwoofer sound. Etc . Have been with Best buy for over 30 years. Joined total tech.

Never again
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Guy missed appointment and I had another member of geek squad track “Dale” down and and he finally showed up 5 hours later. If this was the first time I had used Geek squad I would never use them again. Guy was bothered that he had to show up and mounted Tv in wall location where he wanted it to hang, not where I/myself the customer wanted it. My husband and I are furious! I would make sure a store member did the install, not a 3 rd party hire our guy who may or may not show up.

I think there was a mix up as to whether this was a site survey, consultation or install. Although my rating for this is low, I have always had a good experience with Geek Squad. I wanted someone to come out and consult with me on my current situation and whether I could cancel my cable and get something else. Probably just a miscommunication.

How can I schedule a Geek Squad appointment?

I wanted to schedule Geek Squad to come to my house the first week of June to re-connect my TV in my recreation room and re-connect my TV/entertainment center in my main house. But no one will help me. Don't know what i get from Total Tech membership.
