    Horrible, they sent someone out for site survey and confirmed what was needed for install then when the installer came they sent the wrong person who could not do the job and had to then scedule another date 30 days out again..still waiting

    I HAVE HAD 2 SITE SURVEYS FOR A VERY MINOR INSTALLATION. GOD FORBID THAT ANYTHING BAD HAS HAPPENED TO THE REPRESENTATIVE THAT IS HANDLING THIS JOB. AFTER SEVERAL PHONE CALLS AND TEXT MESSAGES, I HAVE ALL BUT GIVEN UP ON THE GEEK SQUAD FO THIS SIMPLE INSTALLATION. IF THERE IS ANY CHANGE IN THE STATUS OF THIS JOB, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CALL AND LET ME KNOW.

    Ghosted by Best Buy Geek Squad with no information

    No one came to my house. I did not receive this service. I have gotten no information from Best Buy about why. It took weeks to get this appointment scheduled and now I've been ghosted by the person who was supposed to be my liaison.

    Received a texted on Tuesday 09/01/2020, Best Buy: Appointment reminder for 09/04/2020 est. arrival of 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Took the day off and no one showed up; no call, text or email. On Saturday 09/05/2020 at 4:30 pm I received a text, Best Buy: We've cancelled one or more items. 24 hours after they were supposed to provide the service.

    Can’t refuse this because no one has come to see my home. I asked for a review for my Internet not him theater. My interaction with Best Buy and specifically Colin has been less than was expected.

    The agent didn't appear to have good knowledge. He could not answer any question or come up with any solution. Total waste of time. Never have been so disappointed with any other Geek Squad member!

    The person who came said he was not the correct person for the job and had no idea how to help me. Nothing was done except I had to make another appointment, hopefully with someone who can do what I need. The next available was more than three weeks away! I found this very discouraging and poor service.

    I’ve had previous great experiences with Geek Squad but not this time. The work quotes to install outdoor speakers was incorrect and the price adjusted up 3 times. I agreed to continue each time until the 4th increase and then decided to cancel it all and get a full refund. The expense wasn’t worth it not to mention the wasted time for weeks dealing with the install.

    They kept rescheduling and also canceled my camera installation after waiting 2 months for them to install don’t use them they don’t have any employees to get anything done it’s so sad use cat5 they will get it done

    At the time of this survey, I was told someone would get back to me within a week. Nearly 6 months later, crickets. I had my nephew come and set up my home theater. Used them for 12 years with no problems in my previous state.

    This survey was a waste of my time. Geek agent met me at my home and listened to everything I wanted without taking any notes. He said he would email me a quote to do work. I am still waiting for that quote. I called him several times and left voice messages and I still haven't heard a whisper.

    Poor description of the length of electrical cable and its location. Then it took about 6 weeks and 4 attempts to get appliance picked up. I had to cancel Thanksgiving at my house.

    Never got to setup my appt. After multiple attempts and calls I was never able to use this services. Would gladly not recommend geek squad isn’t useful only if you buy the product within Best Buy.

    7 hour window for appointment, showed up, walked through and was to need a few days for estimate on a stereo speaker install, that was it, no call, no email, no estimate, still waiting

    Extreme wait for someone to measure my utility roo

    I requested someone to measure my utility room to see if a new washer and dryer would fit. The measurement was requested six times before someone finally came. I was frustrated. I was disappointed. I was stressed out. It ruined my days when I dressed, stayed home, and waited for someone to come.

    I was asked to subscribe so that I do not have to pay for installation fee; if I purchase device from Best Buy. Now they say rules have changed and even to complete my projector and screen fine tuning they are charging $500.

    There was pretty much no value for them to come. Our install was simple and it was annoying to have to make sure I was available for some random installers to come look. The installers who came weren’t even the installers who did the job.

    Surround Sound Installation

    Requested a quote to install a surround sound at home. Three weeks after, still waiting... Also, during the inspection, the technician gave me more than 10 reasons for to do the job. If the Geek Squat can't do a simple installation then why are they on the business?
