Small dark area on the screen
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think this should have been designed so that the edges of the shield are not seen on camera. You can see the edge in the corners. I zoom a bit to avoid it - but I shouldn't have to do that. Otherwise it seems to work as expected.

Too big

Good for Pro, but NOT for “Pro 2”
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought three of these for my Arlo Pro cameras and they work pretty well. They have one unexpected benefit. Arlo Pro and Pro 2 cameras are a bit pickier about operating temperature than the original Arlo wirefree cameras were and they won’t charge under about 32°. But I have found these skins will warm up the camera in bright sun, allowing them to actually charge using the solar panel at lower outside temperatures. That is very handy in cold climates. Of course, it likely means I should take them off during the summer so I don’t bake the cameras. One caveat, these don’t work with the Arlo Pro 2 in night vision mode. The Pro 2 has a slightly wider field of view and it causes lR scatter at night. That scatter creates a fog like appearance and ruins night vision. I had to cut the hood off the covers to fix the scatter problem on Pro 2 cameras. They need a Pro 2 version or a tweaked version that works for both Pro and Pro 2.
