Skullcandy or Skullcrusher? Lots of Bass!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I could go a multiple of ways with this review. The headphones themselves are good, comfy, and very stylish. If you are looking for headphones that make it sound like you are still front row at that rock concert getting your ears blown off with TONS of bass, then these are the headphones for you. If you do not want that experience, the sound is still pretty good, and the bass can be adjusted, but I would suggest looking elsewhere. I've reviewed the V-Moda crossfades, as well as my trusty Bose Quiet comforts, and I would recommend one of those over these.

If you LOVE Bass
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Maybe in the past you’ve tried different headphones and thought, “These just don’t deliver the bass that I want.” Well I’m here to tell you that your problems are over! The Skullcandy Crusher 360 delivers bass you never thought possible in a pair of headphones. It honestly feels like you have a subwoofer in your head. The zippered case is beautiful and has a pocket for the USB charging cable and an optional audio cable, if Bluetooth isn’t available. (The headphones connected immediately via Bluetooth to my smartphone, no problems there.) The five segment LED panel gives you immediate information on your charging progress, turning bright green when you’re fully charged, and then the state of its battery while using. The buttons, unlike many new headsets are large and easy to find, no fumbling. When using the Crusher to make and receive phone calls there were no problems. The headphones themselves are very rich looking, the picture on the Best Buy website doesn’t do them justice. I love the tan and black color scheme. When you put them on, your ears just ‘sink” into the cushions, giving you a nice tight seal without undo pressure on your ears. So let’s talk more about the bass, because that’s probably why you’ve read this far. I don’t think any other headphones deliver anywhere near the bass that these do, bass you can literally “feel.” The best part is that bass is extremely easy to adjust to your taste. Just run your finger up and down the left earpiece and the bass goes from what you’re probably used to with other phones, and then as you run your finger up it becomes slowly thunderous, to the point that the bass is exaggerated. I have many recordings I like from the 1960’s and I hear bass that I absolutely never knew was there in the thousands of times I’ve listened to them before. Bottom line as Meghan Trainor sang in her song, It’s “All About that Bass.” That’s the real appeal of the Crusher 360. If you’re perfectly happy with the bass reproduction of your current headphones, you may not need these, The headphones ARE expensive, but if you’ve always felt you may be missing something in the songs you currently enjoy listening to, or you really want to blow your friends’ minds, give these a try!

Great sound quality -- if you're in a quiet room
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are some of the best headphones I've ever used, except for one problem. If there is any ambient noise in the room, it completely destroys the experience. Without active noise cancellation, these headphones are severely handicapped. I knew it didn't have ANC when I bought it, but I was hoping the sound quality would overcome it. I was wrong and had to return them.

Good Sound BUT Overly Priced
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am giving this Skullcandy - Crusher 360 Wireless Over-the-Ear Headphones a 3 out of 5 star rating. I've had experience using Skullcandy ear-buds but this is my first time using their over-the-ear headphones. Simply put, the headphones put out good sound, allow for decent sound isolation, and great bass. This base and highs are well balanced but feel the mid-range is a bit weak/muddy which is important for the range of vocals. Thy are attractive in appearance in black/tan but would prefer just solid black. The memory foam is very comfortable and fit well over my eye glasses. Bluetooth paring was pretty impressive as I was able to walk about 40-feet away from my paired Android phone without dropping connection. Pros: Great bass Good sound clarity Very comfortable Great Bluetooth range Cons: Very expensive Muddy mid-range

Great bluetooth overear headphones
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased these for myself but when I had my kids try them out they were never given back. These are very nice noise cancelling headphones. For the audiophiles out there these probably are not for them as they will not like the vibration these give off for the bass. This is probably for the younger generation that listens to headphones often for daily commutes. I am a 40's something and I like the bass boost so check them out. Easy to pair with multiple devices. I like the case that it comes with but one thing that was a minor issue is it doesn't come with a charger or cord. For a $300 item you would think it would come with a charger and cord.

Nice Heaphones by Skullcandy
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These are a nice set of headphones by Skullcandy. The build quality is pretty nice. Didn’t know Skullcandy made headphones like this, I usually see cheaper headphones made by them on the market but these thoroughly impressed me. The color scheme with the Black and Tan make them look expensive. I also like the folding design which lets you easily tuck these away with the included case. Sound wise these are a bass heavy set of cans. If you like your music bass heavy these are perfect for you. Bass is deep and hits hard. Skullcandy claims to get 29 hours of use off of one charge, haven’t been able to use it that long yet but have been listening for several hours for a couple of days and still have a lot of juice left.

Very nice headphones
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Crusher 360 is an impeccable set of headphones. On top of having a strong feel and a sharp design, the sound it produces is really amazing. The headband is metal, and I appreciated the nod to durability. The earcups are memory foam wrapped in fabric. The earcups fold into headband easy to store or travel with in the included travel case. One earcup has the power button, USB/charging port, and 3.5mm aux jack, as well as the sensory bass control. The other earcup has 3 buttons that control volume, pause, and skip. Now for the sound. The low end has some good kick, and the mid-range and highs sound balance. As a side note, there is no active noise canceling with this unit. When you start turning up the sensory bass, it starts to make the music even more enjoyable. The sensory bass feature is what makes this unit a limited edition. The sensory bass literally lets you feel the bass in your bones by turning the drivers into a personal sub-woofer. You can adjust the level of sensory bass to your taste. Personally, I found the middle level to be about right, feeling like I was in a car with the bass turned up. It was great to use this unit with movies or TV with crashes or explosions. You really feel them physically, like a theater experience. The Crusher 360 does have a pretty good battery life. A full charge will get you roughly 30 hours of listening time, and the quick charge is a nice feature. In my opinion, this is a headphone that can make any music lover truly appreciate the music that they’re listening to.

Not What I Expected !!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don't get me wrong, these cans are average and so are the original crushers but...they sounded muddy and the vocals sounded recessed. The originals sound better IMO. Sad to say, I returned them and went with the Sony WH-1000XM3. The Bass on these are more controlled and sounded more natural.

If you love bass...these are for you!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Skullycandy Crusher 360 Over-the Ear Headphones probably have the most bass I have ever heard form a headphone. The highest level is way too much for me to handle. I like to use them in the 1-3 range. If I turn it to the 4-5 range range it's more than I can handle - the headphones actually move on your head (like shake). The headphones come with a hard travel case which helps to protect them. This is a nice addition as to other headphones that I have just come with a bag to keep them in that does not protect them at all. The foam ear cushions are comfortable and fit nicely over the ear. The charging cord is a bit short which would not allow you to use these while you were charging them but I have been able to use them for over 15+ hours without needing a charge which is a plus. These are a decent over the ear headphone which really have substantial audio and powerful bass.
