Q: How would these compare to the Sony 1000x m3
A: The answer that you’re looking for is purely subjective and based entirely my opinions of what I think sounds good. But since I have recently owned the Beats Studio 3s, the Sony WH-1000XM3s, and now the Skullcandy Crusher 360s, I will do my best to answer your question. A few months back, I Purchased the Sony WH-1000 XM3s, not long after release. I was excited to try out the noise cancellation for the first time. Every time that I listened to these earphones, I felt like there was something missing. It took me a while to realize that there just wasn’t enough base for me. The noise cancellation on the Sony’s was phenomenal, the sound was incredibly clean and clear, but it severely liked on the low-end. I eventually sold these without regret. While preparing for Christmas, I Purchased my kids the Skullcandy Venues and my wife bought me the Beats Studio 3s. My family is fans of Apple products and she thought that the Apple W1 chip would be a positive. While I was charging and preparing these gifts, I couldn’t help but notice that the Skullcandy Venues sounded ten times better than the Beats Studio 3s. The noise cancellation was also better on the Skullcandy Venue. The build quality on the Beats was also sub-par, especially for $300. At least with the Sony’s, it did not feel like I over paid... I just didn’t like the sound signature of the Sony’s. This was not the case with the Beats. I returned the Beats. I started doing a lot of researched and finally come upon the Skullcandy Crusher Wireless and the Skullcandy Crusher 360s. A well-built pair of headphones that main focus was bass, sounded like it was right up my alley. I have now been able to enjoy these headphones for a week. I can honestly say that they are my favorite headphones that I have tried. I love the adjustable base and the sound signature is what I have been looking for. I know that sounds signature is purely subjective and based completely on opinion. But in my opinion, I definitely like the Skulcandy Crusher 360s better than the Sony WH-1000XM3s or the Beats Studio 3s. The build quality is also the best of the three. I plan on keeping this pair of headphones for a long time. I hope that this helps.
