    Impressive Bass

"Powerful bass" is an understatement for these headphones. With the swipe of a finger, the bass goes from calm to booming. The lows and mids are excellent. Music is crisp and clean. At times, the sound is produced so well that I forget I am wearing headphones. I have never heard headphones produce such powerful bass. Comfort is also extremely important to me. These did not disappoint. I can wear them hours on end, even with my big ears. Lastly, the battery life is excellent. So far, the only negative is that they are lacking when it comes to high frequencies. In running a test, they appear to cut off around 13KHz. My cheap desktop speakers cutoff around 15KHz when using the exact same test so I am pretty sure it is not a mistake. With that being said, I am currently listening to an album I have heard performed live on multiple occasions. I feel like I am sitting in the arena at the concert. No other headphones have reproduced that feeling for me. I would recommend them as long as the user wants more bass than highs. They are amazing for rock music and pieces that are darker and powerful. I just might consider them a bit lacking for lighter classical where highs are sometimes important.

Brings the music concert to you, in your face bass

Overall these headphones are amazing from the bass you experience like no other headphones, to their comfort. Wearing these 8 hours a day and taking calls made easy with the push of a button. The range away from the device is limited to about 30ft before it starts to skip is my only complaint. If you enjoy the bass side of the music, look no further. The quality is top notch. I was comparing these to the bose qc35 and sony xm3's..... although the skull candy 360's don't have the noise cancellation like the others, the noise that does carry through is very minimal. If you really enjoy listening music and crave the in your face physically at the concert feeling.... look no further.... these cans made me feel young again!

I am not overly familiar with Skullcandy aside from having heard of them for years, but never experienced any of their headphones. If the Crusher 360 is an indicative representation of their products I can see why they have earned a good reputation among bass heads. Let's just jump straight to the star of the show: the bass. I have listened to a LOT of headphones in my life. Ranging from cheap earbuds to expensive magnetic planar and I can say without a doubt that I have never experienced the amount of bass the Crusher 360 delivers. At the highest level it really is crushing (they have 5 levels of bass control plus off). It is the equivalent of stick my head next to my 15" home theater sub. While a fun trick it really isn't listenable for long periods as I became quickly fatigued. I have found level 2 and sometimes 3 to be the sweet spot. It can still rattle my head, but not make me fear rapid hearing loss. Unfortunately, all of that bass seems to have sacrificed midrange. The highs are there and have reasonable extension and smooth roll-off, but the mids are a bit recessed for my taste. This makes vocals take a backseat to the music in many cases. Depending on your musical taste that may be an acceptable trade-off. In short, the Crusher 360 is anything but a balanced sound. Additionally, the Crusher are marketed as a big, immersive sound field and I would say it is about average really. I have certainly heard better (re: wider) even in this price range. The headphones themselves are actually quite nice looking with the black/tan color combo and certainly exude a premium feel. They are well built and comfortable to wear for long sessions. My only real gripe is that I have a farily large head and they just fit. I am at the end of the telescoping headband on both earcups. So, big heads beware. Battery life is rated at 29 hours and after a few days I haven't come close to draining them so I would guess that is a reasonable accurate estimate. The Crusher 360 have no active noise cancelling so keep that in mind if you plan to use them extensively for travel. The controls on the earcups are pretty straightforward. The right earcup has a physical volume up and down, as well as, play/pause button. The left is a gesture swipe up or down to control the bass. I would have preferred a physical set of buttons like on the right earcup myself. The gesture control is hard to gauge what level I am on without taking the headphones off and looking at the indicator lights. Overall, they are fun headphones and can definitely deliver some energy to your music, but they are not a general all-around performer in my book. If you are in the market for some skull-crushing look no further as the Crusher 360 are the king of bass.

Very Stylish and handsome. I wore these for approx. 2 hours watching and listening to an online concert and did not notice any head fatigue. Very comfortable Phones. I found the sound to be a little on the thin side, However, the stereo separation was great and could pick out all the instruments in the songs. I found the Base adjustment to respond very well to slide moves, but needed to find a sweet spot for the base, mainly on the low side to avoid washing out the music. I attempted to use the mic feature but was unsuccessful, I will continue to investigate. Bluetooth pairs quickly and has a consistent connection. The included cord connection is a great option and cord is included. The Hard case is great for travel, phones fit perfect. I think the price point is mainly for innovation, But still feel the headphones fall short to justify a $300 price tag. I would recommend some comparison shopping based on sound quality first, then innovation and design features.

After using these headphones I can say that I have never had more bass in any other set of headphones ever. This can be a good and a bad thing. The good is that the sound with the bass turned down is actually decent and you can turn the bass up just enough to give a full rich sound for most music (at least that I listened to). Also the headphones are comfortable and can be used in both wired and wireless setup which is kind of nice. The bad, well with the bass turned up ( and I mean like up to 11) the sound is pretty terrible. I like the idea of having the ability to add more low end to what your listening to but the quality needs to be better to make it really worth it, and unfortunately the quality is not there at upper levels. I'm still giving 4 stars though because the overall comfort and sound with the bass turned down to a reasonable level is still decent.

Great Pair of Headphones with Limitations

Overall I am pleased with my purchase. These headphones are definitely unique and sound great regardless if the bass is set to low or extreme. These headphones literally make your head and face shake at least they do that to me. So why the four star instead of five star review? For $299.99 it would have been nice to have access to your phone assistant and to have tile integration. Yes you read that right. With these headphones you can not activate Google Assistant, Siri or Alexa from the headphones. In order to do so you have to pull out your device and activate assistant. These are the first pair of high end headphones that I've purchased that will not let you activate your assistant from the headphones. Even the original Crushers gives you access to your device assistant and are $150 less. Far as the Tile integration. The Venues which cost $179 has this feature along with the assistant activation. I understand that these are for music and are limited edition headphones but the limitations they have are ridiculous especially at the cost. Also an app would have been nice to push updates to the headphones in the likely event those missing features are added. I believe someone mentioned the sound is low and that is true without the bass being active. If the bass is inactive I have to crank up my tunes to block outside sound. Overall I am happy with the headphones but beware before purchasing.

    Heaviest bass headphones

I've been searching for extremely bass forward headphones for listening. My main hobby is a house music dj and bass-forward headphones are preferred. I've owned dj headphones Shure SRH-750DJ and Pioneer HDJ-1500 but those don't have as much bass as Sony XBR950BT. I even tested the standard Skullcandy 360 headphones, which had a lot of bass but sound quality was just average. The limited edition Skullcandy Crusher 360 blew all the headphones away. NOTHING comes close to the amount of bass as these. The haptic feedback makes it feel like your head is getting rattled, so if you're not a fan of absurd bass, don't get these. The mids have a even response and the highs are not very pronounced, which are fine with me. I really want the thump to give me that punch.

Skullcandy has taken the Crushers to the next level! The Bass is improved over last generation, the design is more premium and it does have the Theater like experience!

When i tried these headphones at the best buy display i was so shocked and had to have them at no matter what the cost was. I bought them and i fell in love with them and wouldnt even let my kids play with them. I wore them around the office and at the house for a little over a week. Then one day i went to put them on and the battery was dead. I was like ok let me charge them. The next day i put them on and the battery said it was dead again. Let me remind u it said it had a full charge when first played. After ten minutes of play time it was dead. I immediately took them back to get my money back before the 14 day warranty ran out. The woman asked if i wanted to swap them out for another pair and i said “NO” cause i paid $347 for those and after 8 days im disappointed and cant take a chance with that much money on the line. So i wouldnt recommend these headphones to anyone after what I experienced.
