These are my third pair of Crusher headphones. I skipped out on the ANC since I heard the bass was cut back vs the Evo... I'm not sure if I made the right decision though. You need to use the app to adjust the EQ settings of which there are only three. When the headphones aren't connected to your phone they just revert back to the default music setting. This sucks since movie mode is the best sounding one. I saw that some of the cheaper models have the ability to toggle between EQ settings video a button on the headset. Skullcandy really dropped the ball in this department. When I asked if there was a workaround, their customer service dept sent me instructions on how to pair my headphones... Overall I still love the headphones. You can feel the bass rattling your jawbone without distorting the sound like the old Crusher headsets.

I LOVE these headphones. They're INSANE. I tried these along with the Beats Studio³ when they were on sale for $200, and these blow them out of the water. They don't have ANC, but the ear pads are so dense they do a decent job of providing PNC. What they DO do is play your music. The bass slider is an incredible feature that you can't find anywhere else. Honestly 25% bass is great, but when I need to get in the zone at the gym I turn the bass all the way up. At max bass it can distort the quality of the other sounds, but it's worth it lol. The best part about these is you can do a hearing test on the SkullCandy app to have the sound played optimized to your hearing ability. It actually does make a big difference.

Great sound. Light weight. Had to replace one after the dropped and broke. Not a very hard or long fall. Was a little disappointed they weren’t tougher but liked them so much we are giving them a 2nd chance by replacing with another pair. So far so good.

i was looking for a new set of wired headphones, but i couldnt find anything close to what i was looking for. i finally caved and decided to shop wireless. at first i decided to spring for the sony wh-1000xm5, but i was unimpressed with the audio quality. they were good, to be clear, but i was expecting a lot more for the price. i decided to return them and try these. i figured scullcandy, being primarily aimed at teens, would at least have solid bass. boy howdy do they! with the haptic turned off, the base is a little lackluster. turn the slider up just a bit and you get solid bass. crank it, and you'll shake your ears! the truly surprising part is the overall sound quality. headphones with a quarter the bass typically have at least washed out highs and mids. not these. watching action movies, you can clearly hear high pitched female voices while rumbling engines or explosions occur. the earcups arent the most comfortable i've ever felt, but given the design of these headphones, i feel they are adequate. overall, you'd be hard pressed to get a better audio experience for movies without going for actual surround sound.

OMG the bass on these things is amazing !!! Best money I have ever spent on a pair of headphones. My wife gets alot of headaches with loud music and i can sit right beside her and they vibrate my skull but its quiet for her

The crushers have no faults. Buy them. Pick the ANC 2s if you need something even louder.
