Not Bad

While the characters can be fun, it's ultimately a money grab. Very clever marketing. But still...this one is good and meets my hopes for the characters

Its a good game but....

Beware: Scam game to fleece your wallet
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Why do people give this 4+ stars??????????2 stars because what you can do is cool, BUT----I bought this for my sons birthday. Unfortunately the pack does not give you enough figures to be able to even finish one level. You basically have to buy all the additional figures to complete all the levels, which I estimate at $300+ dollars for everything. So you might get a deal on the starter and spend hours of frustration and many gift requests and cost to actually play the full game. We use to buy a game and play, you buy this game and keep buying to play. DO NOT GET THIS thinking it will be simple...it is NOT. This is a well orchestrated scam to lock you into the Skylanders CRACK. You open it up and there is a poster of + figures......some are for land, sea or air....you have to have at least 1 of each.....or you get blocked out of parts of the game + $30 right there.....Please research the commitment needed on this before you buy. I did not. My bad. Stuff like this frustrates me to no end.

Good game, not as great as the others
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Our kids have all but the first Skylanders game for the 3DS systems, so we decided to buy one that they could all play together on the Xbox. It doesn't get as much play as the other versions. They enjoy it, but not as much.

We have since then collected a bunch of new Skylanders, along with all the ones she had from previous Skylander games. All of the little characters work.
