Fun game but .....

Unfamiliar with the sky landers series at the time I now know why it was on sale. Game seems to have endless trap and character purchases needed for the full experience. I should have known

My 7-year old loves it

Did some price shopping and Best Buy has the best price for it. Actually, significantly lower than others, probably because it is on an older platform PS3. $13 for something makes my kid happy and quick store pickup, it well worth it.

Now the mini characters are playable and not just a decoration. Only down side is you will need a trap master of each element to be able to open gates, no other types will open them. And you will need atleast one trap of each element so you can swap out trapped characters if you wish to take advantage of them. The story is just as nice as last games with better graphics. I would recomend this to anybody who already plays or even wants to start playing skylanders.
