This Skylanders game added a weird trap mechanic that requires separate figures that wasn't a great fit for the series.

Good,not bad I would like to tell my friends and family

My 4 and 7 year old kids like the game. It has really nice graphics and the game play is not hard (you can select how hard it will be). Game seems long enough to make it worth the hard earned money you are spending. I am looking at keeping this game for at least two years before buying a sequel. This is last year's Skylanders. Superchargers just came out yesterday. You should not pay full price for Trap Team. That being said, characters and traps are going to become harder to find so look for them now if you are barely getting the game. Although I am not buying all the game's extra characters and traps (you are looking at spending at least $900 if you do),YOU DO need at least one Trap Master and one Trap of each of the elements to take full advantage of the game (to open locked gates that can only be opened by that element's master and to trap that element's villain) Make sure you take a look at the poster that is included in the box to give you an idea of what you need.

By the 4th game, the basic formula is tired Buy the SuperChargers game instead,

My kids love this game. they have so much fun playing it and like trapping the bad guys.

Trap team is such a fun game! We all love playing it in the house, and being able to trap the villains has added new life to the game.

The trap team is a nice upgrade from swap force with more design into characters. Now the mini characters are playable and not just a decoration. Only down side is you will need a trap master of each element to be able to open gates, no other types will open them. And you will need atleast one trap of each element so you can swap out trapped characters if you wish to take advantage of them. The story is just as nice as last games with better graphics. I would recomend this to anybody who already plays or even wants to start playing skylanders.

I know its a gimmick and a way to milk parents for more money so the child can enjoy the full game but they are a fun activity to collect and share time with your kids. Its a very enjoyable and fun game for all ages from the kids to the parent sharing in the fun with the kids, its challenging but at the same time accessible enough for all ages.

A fun game for kids, they will enjoy this game a lot.
