I bought the Smart Choice 6; 30 Amp Dryer Power Cord for the Amana - 6.5 Cu. Ft. 11-Cycle Electric Dryer that I purchased when the dryer went on sale at Best Buy. It matched the Amana washer that I'd purchased five months previously from Best Buy. I had the dryer delivered, and my son unboxed and installed it himself. The cord was easy to attach and took only a few minutes. He also attached the dryer vent purchased from Best Buy to go with the dryer, and had everything attached, installed, and ready to go in about 30 minutes after unboxing the dryer and setting into place. Everything worked perfectly. I love having the matching Amana washer and dryer set. Thank You Best Buy!

These were a perfect fit. I could have used the power cord from my old dryer that I was replaced, but I felt that was too much of a hassle. Very easy to install and they work GREAT.

This item was included with the purchase of a new LG electric clothes dryer during the Best Buy July 4th appliance sale. The delivery men checked the outlet, plugged in the cord, and tested the clothes dryer. It works well. Very pleased.

These items are necessary when you purchase a new washer /dryer set for proper installation. The installation was seamless. The staff knew exactly what to do and were extremely quick and efficient

Best Buy requested a review of this product. This a difficult review to give for several reasons: 1. A new power cord is required and is a good idea instead of reusing an old one but since I didn't choose this particular power cord I am unaware of most of its features except that it is reasonable priced. 2. I did not install it myself. This was done by the Best Buy installers. Since I thought they did a terrific job and I watched them install the power cord along with everything else - no problems with our dryer at all, cord is plenty long enough - I will have to give it 5 stars and enthusiastic thumbs up!

Read the description carefully. This is currently being used on my Amana dryer. So far i have had no issues. Installing was easy to understand.
