Bad service by office personnel

No show GEEK Squad
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The appointment on 12/6 was cancelled and re-scheduled--- WITHOUT my knowledge or being contacted. I waited half the day and then called to inquire when someone would show. I was told a voicemail was left - this is absolutely FALSE. Later on 12/16 the job was completed. My beef is that this servcie became a "billable" event - but when I spent $18K on the system I was told WHENEVER I had an issue call and they would fix NO CHARGE. I get that things change - but with crappy service and increased rates - I question if you service is WORTH it!!! I have completed several surveys, told the help line I wanted to speak live with a manage - never have I been contacted!

Geek Squad did a poor job with my Ring installatio

When the same issues continued I called the service advisor. He was out of the office and said he would have a technician call me and that never happened. I wasted my time and money buying from them. I feel I deserved more than this.

3 no shows. Long phone holding time. Disconnects.

Then was a no show for my 10/13/22 appointment. Then rescheduled it. And was a no show for today's 10/14/22 appointment. I have spent too many hours on the phone being transferred from one person to another, being put on hold, and being disconnected. They always ask for my phone number to call me back in case we are disconnected but they don't call back. Today, Caesar had me on hold for 55 minutes and then disconnected me without a resolution or a call back to give me the status or to reschedule. I have spent days on the phone wasting my time trying to have Best Buy show up. Totally Unacceptable. I cannot recommend such poor service and I still have no idea when someone will show up.

Useless Chat line and 888 phone number.

I made an appointment for service, received confirmation by Email, no one showed up, It turned out the appointment was never placed correctly. After a total of 14 hours of wasted time dealing with both chat line and live customer support people at the 888 number, I ended up driving to my local store. There I was informed the service I requested is not available by the Geek Squad. When I asked why the people at the chat line and 888 phones could not have told me this, I was told, "You are not the first person to complain". There is no use calling the 888 number and there is no way to contact a local store. When my Total Tech membership ends, I will NOT be renewing. The worst parts about it all is the Main company does not seem to care or is unable to fix the poor communications on the chat and 888 number

Terrible job.

This was the second time they were out and both times they ran out of time, but still charged me. Terrible job!! My security cameras still do not work!!

Geek Squad help was worthless regarding Alexa

He concluded that Alexa stopped communicating with my devices, because my wifi was week. He suggested I invest in an Eero system and to call him if that didn't work. I did, and Alexa still didn't access the devices. I called him at the number he provided and there was no answer and no voice mail prompt. A short time later a Geek Squad Agent called me. He said I had the wrong number and gave me AJ's number. Same thing, no answer, no voice mail option. I also hate having to go through all the steps required before I can speak to someone who can help me. The texting option was worthless for my problem, but it is a time consuming nuisance.
