Battery dies quickly

Bateery dirs every 2 weeks. I even changed the setting to extend the battery life. Still dies just as quick. Attempted to contact eufy support to file a claim, for maybe a faulty battery. The claim went no where. They asked me to send a receipt. I bought this online and sent the only online order information i had and they kept saying that is not a receipt. It has the order number, itme and payment infor.ation. i dont understand what other receipt they are asking for.

This one locks after 1 minute and i feel way better being that i can go right on the app and lock it myself.

Smart lock that will lock you out
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this lock to replace a Yale Assure 2 that does not alert you when the batteries are low. Due to the layout of our house, this is an issue as there is no other way in when the lock isn't functioning. Unfortunately, this lock is also no good. When not installed in the door, the lock cylinder turns smoothly. However, upon inserting it into the door, the lock cylinder freezes up consistently (tested with the door open). One out of every 10 operations is smooth once installed but otherwise it jams up. The lock is not powerful enough to overcome this which results in one being locked out. There is no obvious reason for this behavior other than the slight amount of play in the orientation of the lock cylinder potentially causing the issue. Other eufy locks have reviews that report the same issue so it must be a feature.

Mean beep and fussy keypad

It always works, it only needs to be charged once or twice a year, and the sound is a pleasant soft "bing" when it opens or locks. Unfortunately, that one's now discontinued, so I bought this one in February for another door. I kind of hate it. I still like the app and its functionality. But the lock itself? Already in four months the battery has run down entirely TWICE, even though I calibrated it carefully from the outset--thank goodness I had the manual key on my keychain. The fingerprint sensor and the keypad are both finicky and don't always respond--god forbid you have a particle of dust on your fingertips. And the sound is a punitive BEEP BEEP BEEP, whether opening or closing, successful or unsuccessful, it sounds like a bad 90s alarm clock or an error. Which I'm afraid purchasing this one was. After five months, I've had enough with this one and will scour eBay for the previous model.

Horrible Google Home Compatibility

The first party app (Eufy app) works seamlessly with the device. The device responds almost instantly. The issue begins when you want to integrate this with your smart home ecosystem. Eufy markets this as Google Home compatible. However, to even pair the lock into Google Home app may take several tries before it finally succeed. Once it's connected, it'll function well until it does not. Give it several hours, and you will notice the lock appearing as offline on Google Home app. However, when you check on Eufy app, it is there online and showing every bit of data you could ever want. As of now, I have found no way of solving this. I have tried resetting the lock, repairing the lock to Eufy app and Google Home app, restarting home network, etc. None of them has worked. Overall, the device works well if you do not have any intention of integrating this with third party ecosystem, even if Eufy claims the ecosystem is fully supported. If you want to use Apple Home or Google Home, then look away from Eufy.

Door lock gets stuck

I have been locked out 3 times now. My kids have been locked out multiple times, and they all have their finger prints added. It chooses when to work.
