The Geek tried to install a Nest. It didnt work. I have a C Wire, which is normally the problem (some old Thermostats dont have a C Wire). After paying an Electrician an additional $95 I found out a fuse needed replacing. The Geek said he thought he saw a spark when he touched wires together. That blew a fuse. I didnt know the furnace had a fuse. The Geek said to me, sorry it doesnt work, try a pro. I have tried to get my $ back but without success. He turned the AC off on the panel but did not unplug the furnace. The electrician said he should have known that. I will not be using the Geek Squad again (that was my first time). He couldnt even screw the Nest into the wall without it falling out. The electrician did it great. The Nest works great!

Richard did an outstanding job installing three smart thermostats at my home in Ivins, Utah. He went the extra mile when a problem came up with the third thermostat, which he quickly identified and solved. I am very happy with the service he provided.

Salesperson said wifi thermostat could be installed. A week later installer called an hour before appointment to say he couldn’t do it. I called to get a refund for the installation and they assured me it could be done. I waited another week and the same installer called an hour before appointment and seemed upset that another appointment was made. Told me it had to be done by a HVAC technician. I brought the thermostat back for a complete refund of item and install. I was once again asked to give them a chance as they definitely did do installs. I was assured they would get to the bottom of it and call me. I never got called. Had it installed a week later by HVAC guy. It ended up costing me more money and multiple trips to the store. Sadly no one at the store seemed to care.

Easy to operate with my Alexa app, temps stay as set. I now have 3,one for each unit. love them. Plus I got a great price and installation at no charge with my Tech Support subscription.

We had purchased the Nest thermostat and had it installed by Geek Squad. He was professional from letting us know exact arrival, installing then walking us through the operation including installing the app & setting it up for us. He didn’t leave until we had no more questions. Wonderful service!

We were up and running un 30 minutes. Geek Squad showed up as scheduled and went right to work. Thermostat was installed, connected to our wifi and off we went.

I really appreciate the guys because the A/C thermostat would not blow cold air initially. It blew hot air and kept heating the house. The guys stuck with it and had to reconfigure the thermostat to my particullar A/C. They had to dig into the situation and go beyond what normally done.

The gentleman who came to my home was very fast and knew the product very well. Love the thermostat. Would recommend to anyone looking for a new thermostat.

Person that installed but could not confirmed that it worked to temperature. Could not help with phone installation of app. Said it wasn't on him if phone would not download. No assistance on how to get it done. He was the least helpful person I ever dealt with that represented Best Buy. Very disappointed that Best Buy would send him. Was this really Total Tech??? Normally recommend all things Best Buy, not su much now.

The Nest thermostat is absolutely the bestband easiest to use. In my brand new house i took out the Honeywells and replaced them with Nests. Best move ever.

The agents installed the smart thermostat and worked with me to get the app set up.
