I purchased the Amazon smart thermostat and had installed by Geek Squad Tech. The tech did not turn off the power to the A/C and shorted out my A/C. He was totally incompetent. He not only shorted out the A/C but could not install the thermostat. I called Best Buy and they said the would file a property damage claim. I had to pay for AC repair out of pocket after 3 days with no AC in 90 degree weather. The repair cost me $465.00. It is now 2 weeks and have not heard back from Sedgwick (Best Buy Insurance). I have sent numerous emails and phone call and no one has answered. I think I will have to get my attorney involved if I don’t get reimbursed soon.

The agent arrive on time which is something that is very important to me. The installation of the thermostat was quick and efficient. I would highly recommend this service to a friend.
