Not worth it, call a expert from outside
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried 2 times to install a smart thermostat with total tech , first time it needed c wire so I had to buy a Diferent thermostat i bough google nest, technician came to install took 5 minutes , while he was in a Best Buy training call , he told me to charge for 8 hours before it would work, so after 8 hours I put it back , didn’t work I texted him he didn’t reply , he didn’t stall the plate that I didn’t even know it came with with , horrible service . I had to call someone else to install for me

Thermostat setup was done poorly.

He was sending pictures of the wiring to his boss for instructions. The wall mount was also done in a bad way, leaving open gaps in the wall.

Google nest install

Very poor service
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The technicians who came to install my thermostat did it incorrectly. The temperature of the house went up to over 90 and we have 2 kids 1 has autism’s. My wife spent 5 HOURS on HOLD until she got hold of someone. Two more technicians came the day after and after 30 minutes advised us to get a air conditioning specialist to fit it and send the bill to Best Buy ( we paid Best Buy over $100 to install ). We are still waiting for this bill to be paid, it’s been a few weeks and nobody from Best Buy has been in touch. Myself I think telling you this will make no difference, no compensation offered! I am waiting to talk to someone from the press and tell all my friends NOT to shop at Best Buy One totally annoyed former customer

We're also not fans of our homes being at over 90 degrees, so it's understandable that your family isn't either, and would want that corrected as soon as possible. GeekSquad did a great job installing my thermostat

Poor quality work
