I bought 2 Nest thermostats and they said they can be installed, however when they showed up the technician from mastech said that you have to have a certified hvac guy hook it up and he cannot do it. I can find to the store and the manager assured me that the next time they will send somebody different. When the day came, I printed out the instructions for the technician to show him how to install it, they looked at it and said they cannot do it, that we would have to get a certified HVAC technician.

The service technician came in a timely manner and had installed my thermostat in a quick manner.

Qeek Squad technician Benjamin was unable to install thermostat with "C" wire, which is what I purchased. Recommended that I get a HVAC technician for installation. Qeek Squad technicians should not be sent out to do a job that they are not trained to do or simply let us know at store that Geek Squad technicians can't install "C" wired thermostats only battery operated

The tech that came out to install the thermostat had only installed one before. He had to come back and still wired it wrong after spending hours trying. Supervisor was not responsive to issues and did not respond to requests. Third time they sent a real tech out and he wired it correctly. I’m glad it didn’t mess up my system. Works now but wouldn’t use them again- too much wasted time and didn’t know what they were doing.

They came on time which is something I respect. They installed my thermostat and cleaned up very nicely.
