Instead of bothering the store, I tried dealing with the manufacture as a warranty exchange. They instead only wanted to send a remote, saying the engineering department says that’s the problem. I received a remote with a broken antenna. And surprise, it didn’t fix the issue with the camera zoom. I gave up on them, going to the store for an exchange. Well, turns out the 2nd one I got don’t zoom either and this camera haze a purple haze to it. So if you want a drone to just practice flying and not so much for pictures or videos, this may be for you, otherwise, stay away from this one…maybe even the brand, considering the way the warranty department handles things.

However, after about a month, we encountered a minor technical issue with one of the motors. The instructions aren't clear for the beginner and the scredriver sent with the kit is a phillips when a hex is needed.

Unfortunately a waste of money

Every time I used it, the drone would fly off withiut responding to the controls or any returns features. The first two times inwas able to find it after searching for 30 minutes the third time i searched for over 3 hours covering a half milf radius in the direction it left but was never found again. Video and picture quality was just decent from the arial view even with a memory card inserted.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.At first glance the drone seemed pretty good. It came with a case, extra props, and a spare battery. For what I paid for it I was satisfied despite the slow charge time of the batteries. Once I had everything charged up I took it out. There wasn't much wind and yet right after I took off it started to drift away from me. I tried to keep it stabilized and hover it above where it took off and it was impossible. Next thing I know the controller is beeping because it was losing signal and by that point it was out of range and the emergency stop button did nothing. I had no other choice but to watch it drift away and never once did I see it attempt to land or emergency stop. Sad to have lost the money I spent on this. My next drone will have to be more robust, capable of stabilizing itself, and come back using GPS. This had the potential to be a great beginner drone. Especially with all the extras included with it. It simply lacked the basic functionalities and features to live up to that expectation. It's hardly worth being the title of "toy drone".

This product has a wind resistance level of 2 miles per hour (2mph). Under normal circumstances, even in a light breeze, the drone will not continue to fly away unless the wind speed is too high, leading to a situation where control is not possible. In addition, if the wind speed is excessively high and within the effective control distance, pressing the one-key landing button or manually landing will result in the drone landing according to the control, without flying too far and getting lost.
When the drone is disconnected with the remote complete, the drone will hover in its current position for several seconds. After confirming the signal loss, the drone will automatically land (the time to descend to the ground depends on the drone's height and descent speed). However, there is a risk of the drone being blown away by the wind in windy conditions.
The emergency stop button is only effective at a height of ten meters. If the drone goes beyond the visual range and there is a signal loss (disconnection), the emergency stop button is ineffective.

Not a bad starter drone

It has a satisfying folding mechanism that closes the wingspan and reduces its size by about 50%. It has built in “landing gear” so it lands flat, it has guards to keep the propellers safely away from extremities that install with a quick insert. On top of the regular controls seen on a drone (two joysticks, power button, camera button, etc.), the controller offers a number of additional buttons including a landing button and a flip button). The controller offers a mount for the phone to hold it while using the app features. The drone has an app that has camera controls, live view, speed control, and a few other functions. The app was easy enough to use and it also has the user guide built in which is great if you have any questions on the functions There are two included batteries with usb c ports built into them to offer an easy charging solution. It includes a usb c to usb a charging cable but no charging brick is included. Setup of the drone was simple. It consisted of unfolding the drone, inserting a battery, and turning on the drone and the controller which were pre-paired. The controller has a built in safety feature that requires the sticks to be in a down position for the drone to start which I appreciated. The drone does not handle steady in my experience. Even in an indoor environment it seemed to sway in the air (according to the manufacturer it has a wind resistance of 5m). The drone includes a calibration mechanism, but as far as I can tell it didn’t help with the sway issue. It’s definitely fast and agile. The camera is as advertised. You can definitely get some decent shots/video from it. There is no way to adjust the position of the camera. I think the camera would likely be better without having to account for the drone not being able to stay in one place. I’d say if you’re looking for a starter drone, this isn’t a bad option. The challenges with the sway of the drone may be a bit dissuading to a new user. But I think there are a few things this drone is missing to recommend it as the last drone you buy.
