Bought this for my son. I have one of my own. Works great.

As a value I'm not sure if $50 is really worth it however I think this is the going price for most solar panels for cameras. As far as ease of setup it's easy to connect to your cam and mount. All tools come with it that's required to mount this panel. The cord is pretty long so you can mount it in a separate area from your camera.

Great option for battery charge with out having to manually

This is a super easy to install. Keeps my camera at 100% at all times. The only thing is that it says it is for the spotlight cam only but it DOES work with the stickup cam. When I first hooked it up, I didn’t think it was working because it wasn’t showing up as connected in the app. Just wait a while and it will show up.

Solar is just the way to go. So much easier so you don't have to keep changing out the battery and charging it

Received the solar panel in the mail, was a little heavier than I would have expected. Installed easily onto the side of our stucco exterior using provided hardware. Plugged it into existing Ring spotlight camera in the front yard, and it immediately began charging. Camera was about 60% charged, and it took most of the day to charge to 100%. Now it keeps the camera at 97-100% all the time. Of course we live in an area that gets 350+ days of sunshine a year. Will be purchasing another for the backyard camera. So much nicer than manually charging the batteries, especially since our homes are seasonal.

I have an old house that doesn't have wiring for cameras and changing batteries all the time is a pain. I have the solar panels on several cameras, even one that doesn't have great sun exposure, and have never had a problem with the batteries losing charge.

Works great with ring camera very easy to install .

I have 2 of these connected to my outdoor camera's, simple install, two screws to fasten to mounting location, adjustable angle, plug and play into camera and about a 15' cord for clear placement into the sunshine. Completely keeps my Ring cameras charged 24 hrs. Install, set up in app, and forget it.

Great ,love the panel don't have to change the battery

I wanted to add some security to my home in my yard. I already have the ring floodlight and love the Ring ecosystem and community. I saw this combo on sale during Black Friday and decided to purchase it with a solar panel. Installation was quick and picture quality is great. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because sometimes I can't connect to my spotlight through the app. This is probably due to it's proximity from the access point of my wifi mesh network. Still annoying but I would but it again. The solar panel was wonderful. It keeps the batteries charged even in Chicago winters where sun is a limited commodity.

Solar Panel for Ring works great and easy to install.

The solar panel is probable the best ring product in the line. It should come with the cameras. This makes the cameras maintenance free. Definitely worth the money. Once installed give it about 5 days to be really effective. Be sure the battery is fully charged at the time you install the panel. Make sure panel gets several hours of strong sun each day for best performance.

I got tired of getting on a ladder to pull the battery out then spend several hours without the camera because the battery was charging. Since I bought this solar panel I haven’t been back on the ladder. It works perfect. I’d recommend having your battery fully charged when you install the solar panel.

Its great. I have the a ring camera that takes two batteries. I have it set to record everything. And with only 1 battery its never gone below 90 percent with the solar panel. Super long cord and defiantly good quality
