I have these located in full light for part of the day, which isn't recommended. They still work great keeping the ring battery stick up cams topped up (99%) in the summer months. Ring makes a higher capacity panel for partial light locations. I am noticing they are a little behind (running ~95%) in keeping the batteries full going into the winter with overcast cold (sub zero) days, expecting that to turn around with brighter days. Great option if you don't want to keep replacing/charging batteries manually or you don't want to run the power to the camera location.

You'd be a fool not to buy this to accompany your Ring security system. This makes your life so much easier! It's easy to install and works wonders. Be environmentally friendly and get one!

Installation was easy just like all Ring products. Quality seems very good for the price. We’ll see how it holds up. Cam battery is always at a 100% in this Arizona sun.

Having these for our cameras was the best decision! Never have to worry about the battery running out as we always have sun where they sit. Really easy to install too.

Great solar panel for my garage Ring camera. Has been working a charm. Easy to install and in perfect solar view. Charges the battery with full power in 24hrs.

I was a little skeptical of the solar panel. We placed it in and area where the sun was limited to about 2 hrs a day. It charged little bit by little bit and by the end of the week it was at 96% and has maintained that ever since. I am so excited becuz the Ring Spotlight that we got the panel for is on the 2nd story of our house and my husband had to go up there and walk across the front of the house on an average of once every 2-3 weeks and I was always a nervous wreck. Now I don't have to worry about him slipping and falling and hurting himself. Yay!!

Purchased 2 of these to go with 2 stick up cams in the yard. with the settings i have and the amount of yard activities the battery drains down to close to half in less than 24 hrs. I installed the solar panel and by morning or mid morning i see my batteries back at 100 percent. I never had a dead battery to worry about ever since I installed. I will however have to wait until the winter and see how well they handle with less sun light. If I know about it in time i would have opted for the larger panels.

use easy to set up you don't have to worry about charging your battery for your ring camera out back I love these things I feel more safe I would recommend it to everybody

I was frustrated at first with this purchase because my battery drained in a few hours. But after some research I found out you don't follow the directions. When the security camera is set to battery not wired, then the solar panel works awesome! It keeps the battery fully charged. Good purchase, easy to install

Excellent product. Definitely comes in handy in Cali especially with it being sunny. Keeps my camera rolling all the time and don’t have to worry about it running out of battery

Keeps the spotlight camera charged. Easy to install. Be aware this is NOT for the new stickup cam. This is ONLY for the spotlight cam. This detail was hard to figure out by reading reviews and product description.

Due to the amount of activity near our front door where our "ring" was installed, our battery was being drained frequently. After having to charge the battery twice within 6 months, we decided to spend the extra and try the optional solar battery backup panel. It was the best decision we could make. Just make sure your solar panel faces the sun and you'll be all set. Depending on the weather and sunlight, you shouldn't have to worry about charging your battery again. We installed the solar panel about a month ago and haven't gone below 95% battery life.

No need to have to swap out and recharge the battery in my Spotlight Cam. This solar panel was very easy to connect and mount. Working very well, even with our winter partly cloudy and rainy days.

This solar panel is awesome has a long cord to go to far place on/in the house. When it gets plenty of sun it can keep the camera charge for along time.

The product is easy to install and comes with everything you need to mount it and make it work. It has been keeping the batteries charged without any problem. I will buy this again with my next Ring purchase.

This thing works great, even in the winter. Keeps the battery charged in my non-wired cam perfectly. I've never had to even worry about it. Installation is super-easy and it just works. Really great product.

If you’re reading this, buy it! My ring camera never falls below 99% and I never have to climb a ladder to take out the battery to charge. Install was easy!

Very good.i am in a very active corner.at night my ring spotlight cam battery will drop to around 96 percent.in the morning its back to 100. Very easy to mount

I purchased the solar panel to avoid charging the Ring Spotlight and that has yet to disappoint. I use the solar panel along with the Ring Spotlight cam since the area where it's focused does not have the possibility of being hard wired. I've had the item since 3/9/2020 and I also travel and have been able to view this camera without the need of charging or being hardwired. I would recommend purchasing the Spotlight camera if you have an area where you are not able to hard wire along with the Solar Panel. I haven't had an issue with the solar panel charging the Spotlight camera and has maintained the charge throughout the past 4 months.
