The solar panel is great because you don’t have to worry about changing the battery. The sun keeps it charged and you don’t have to hardwire the camera.

It’s a must have for your ring security camera purchase, easy installation, and once it’s connected you never have to worry about charging again.

I installed 3 of these and 1 Ring Super Solar Panel. These get a fair amount of hours in the sun each day but only seem to keep the camera batteries at the same level until cloudy days the the batteries drain a little. I disabled recording and snapshots to see if the panels could charge up the batteries but they don’t seem to be capable of doing so. The Super Solar panel barely gets the same amount of sun (the reason I purchased it) and seems to do much better. These regular panels are good and I predict it will be months before I have to recharge the batteries but if I could go back in time, I would have installed the larger Super Solar panels instead. I probably wouldn’t have felt the need to buy extra batteries or the charger that they are sitting in until it’s time to use them. The mounts aren’t the greatest due to extremely minimal adjustability and there’s no option to flush mount but they get the job done I guess.

Bought 2 of these for my Ring stock up cam. Keeps them charged at 100%. Now I do t have to worry about charging the batteries, ever. Very easy to install.

Easy to put up everything I needed was in the box once I charge the battery for my security camera the solar panel did its job ...very happy

This this it's one of the best items I've ever purchased from Best Buy I no longer have to get up on a ladder to put a rechargeable battery into my ring it's much more safer for me that works perfect and I would advise anyone who has a ring product that needs this type of item to definitely purchase it from Best Buy and they have the best prices I'm very very happy with this purchase I look forward to practicing many more items in the future with Best Buy thanks Best Buy for all you're good prices

This solar panel is a "must have" when you install Ring security cameras outdoors to complement your Ring doorbell, creating a Ring security system. The solar panel does a fantastic job in providing an ample power supply that will keep the batteries charged for reliable long term camera operation. It eliminates the down-time that would otherwise be needed to periodically charge the batteries. It's cost effective and actually saves time in labor and battery replacement . I highly recommend it!

Easy to setup. Setup correctly in the right spot facing the sun most of the day our Ring Spotlight Cam battery never drops below 85% percent each day.

Easy to install. Even charged a dead battery. However, I recommend you charge the battery first and then let the solar thing do it's job and you'll have to rarely charge the battery anymore.

Been using my Ring cameras with the solar panels well over a year snd never had to worry about the batteries dying. I fully charged the batteries on the first time and never had to remove them since!! I did reduce the notifications to a scheduled time or while away, that helps significantly. But even with lots of activity around they maintain. Only thing is changing the angle or spot with the change of the season to capture the sun but thats every 4-5 months so no big deal

As long as it is in sunny area It keeps my ring cameras charged. No need to pull battery down and charge anymore.

Works great. Make sure you have it placed where you can get maximum sun and you will never have problems keeping your camera charged up. Install shouldn't take you more than 30 minutes from the time you unbox it. Note: Follow Ring's advice and charge your camera battery fully before you hook this up and you should be fine. A lot of people don't do that and then they are surprised that it takes 2 to 3 days from a dead battery.

Install was super easy. Kiss my ring camera charged. Six months on have had no problems whatsoever…

The solar panels are wonderful. It's so easy to install with the Ring Camera and it keeps the camera's battery charged all the time.
