Great way to keep your battery fully charged

I have this put up on the right top corner of my garage entry and since it was difficult to climb up and change the batteries on my ring spotlight cam, this has solved everything. It’s been working for several years, however in the winter here in Michigan it does not charge as well in the cloudy conditions as it does in the summer. That being said it’s still adequate to keep the two batteries I have fully functional and never have to manually remove the batteries and charge them up.

Thus, I would hassle with taking the camera down then charging the batteries. I did this because I wasn’t sure if solar worked well and didn’t want to deal with the time to install. Boy was I wrong! I regret not caving years ago. So glad I purchased solars for all my ring cameras. No more charging batteries! Installation was incredibly easy too.

Great addition to the Ring Spotlight Cam!

We hooked up both the cam and the solar panel at the same time, and we've never had to worry about a dead battery. It always has great battery life with the single battery that came with the Ring spotlight cam. Highly recommend if you have the battery version of the Spotlight Cam!
