It's especially useful for the outdoor spot cam on my garage. During the winter months I couldn't get enough sunlight to keep those batteries charged due to the angle I have to have it it. However, now that it's warming up, it's working great again at keeping my spot cam charged.

The main reason was to minimize the number of times I might need to climb a ladder when the battery drains and needs recharging. Although I haven't had either item very long the Solar Panel appears to be working as expected and the battery in the camera is staying charged.

Good Addition to Ring

I've really grown tired of recharging my ring batteries. I've had this installed for a week on the camera in the front of my house and it's already made a huge difference, especially in the cold weather we've been having which typically drains battery levels quickly. Both batteries are still fully charged and working well. Let's see how the panel holds up over the long term.
