We have several Ring products and the camera in the backyard always seemed to run out of battery power before I could switch batteries. Since it gets ample sun in the area, I decided to add the solar panel. Now, the battery is never low. I have checked it at night when taking the dog out and the battery is still fully charged even if the dog has activated it and the light multiple times. No more gaps in recording when the battery dies.

I’ll start off by saying that this product works........ sometimes. When in direct sunlight it works very well, even low sun shine it will still show a charge. So I am not sure where the disconnect happens. Every no and then when I check the ring app, it will say the solar panel is not “connected” but yet still charges the devices. Sometimes it charges it and sometimes it doesn’t. It’s clearly plugged in, but will show this device is not connected. Idk if it’s a software bug or what. But we go outside, unplug it and plug it back in and it will show connected again. So does the item work? YES! Does it work flawlessly? NO

The solar panel has done a very good job of keeping the batteries in the Ring Spotlight Cam charged. It is a good product to use when you don't have an electrical outlet available for a security light/camera. I still purchased a second battery to keep the Spotlight Cam sufficiently charged during the dark winter months when there might not be much sunlight.

I was tired of having to pull out the ladder to go up and get the battery to charge overnight. The battery was lasting about 25 to 30 days with settings that extended the life of the battery, but reduced the activity the camera recorded. I should have gone ahead and purchased the solar panel on day one. It would have been wise to purchase this on day one. Great set up and good value. Highly recommend.

So far this solar panel has been working really well. We have a spot that gets direct sunlight for a few hours every morning and it has managed to keep our Ring camera at around 80% as a result. Even on days where it’s cloudy it seems to slow down the battery drain a little so I don’t have to worry about climbing up a ladder to remove the battery for recharging. I’m very happy with how this works.

Yes, no more constantly changing the batteries. Easy to install and really does work!

Works better than i expected. Still had to adjust settings due to only 1 battery in camera, but these are a way better investment over buying additional batteries.

We live in the Pacific NW where overcast weather is not uncommon this time of year. I hooked up my Spotlight Camera with only one battery and the Solar Panel to see how well it worked. I have been amazed that the camera battery has always been charged and works AMAZINGLY without ever having to take out to charge in the five months I have had.

This has worked well for me, have had it up for two weeks and my battery level is still at 83 percent.and some days there is not much sun but it still stay charged pretty good.

Easy to install and works well. We haven't had any issues and it keeps our Ring camera charged up.

This solar panel is amazing. It allows me to be worry free about if my spot light cam battery is charged or not.

After my generic solar charger died within 2 months I decided to buy the Ring's charger. When I went to mount the charger it only had tilt abilities in one direction (up and down) it doesn't have the ability to tilt side to side. Of course my only option of where to mount it needed the ability to move it side to side to catch any light. I ended buying extra parts at Lowes to be able to do this. Other then the limited amount of swivel it has done the job of keeping my Ring charged.

Was easy to set up and works perfectly. We never have a dead battery for our camera.
