Works well. No problem. Easy installation. Keeps battery charged.

I purchased the Ring Solar Panel to use in conjunction with the Ring Stick Up Indoor/Outdoor Wire Free Camera. Since the battery on the wire free camera needs to be recharged every 2 months, the solar panel totally eliminates that requirement. The camera is 100% charged all the time. I highly recommend this product.

I just got another Ring camera and just wanted to test it with one battery this time and the solar panel. Wow, amazing the battery even after 2 semi cloudy days is still at 100%. I def will add a second battery but that proves it does pay to add the solar panel. I have a bunch of solar motion lights and cameras and they all work together keeping things safe.

Not having to charge a battery is a lot easier, and super convenient. What a wonderful use of the sun to power a security camera. I have purchased four Ring cameras and have used the solar panel on all of them without any problems whatsoever.

Used Gorilla double-sided tape to adhere panel to roof to power Stick Up cam which is mounted on my roof's facia. I can now have the cam configured to capture the most video possible, and the battery stays fully charged most all the time. Before, at these settings, the battery would require charging every couple of days.

I was charging the battery every week. The solar panel is great. It was easy to install.

There really isn't much to say about these things other than they work exactly as they should. Most nights my cams go down to 95% or so and by the end of a sunny day they are at a full 100%. There was even one night I had people over to entertain and the cam battery got down to 90% or so and next day was back at 100%. Just have to make absolutely sure they get direct sunlight. After that your good to go.

easy to install no more worrys charging up battery

I installed the Ring Solar Panel late in the day when the sun was setting and the Spotlight Cam battery was at 96%. To my surprise, my Spotlight Cam battery was at 100% the following afternoon even though the day was overcast with no direct sunshine. Very impressed. Look forward to not breaking out the ladder to charge my Spotlight Cam battery. Great addition to my Ring setup.

We originally placed this on the side of the roof, so it received sunlight, but not directly. We didn’t realize it wasn’t working until our ring app notified us several weeks later that our battery was out. We moved the location to a more upright position directly facing up, and since then have had no problems. We check the battery levels more often now and it’s always near 100%. Because the location of our camera is a little higher, we appreciate not having to remove and charge a battery every few weeks. We would plan to purchase another solar panel for another Ring camera as well.

I ordered 4 of them and they work great except for 1 which I assume is defective and I have to exchange. But the others work great and they stay fully charged day and night. Have not had to change batteries since installing a couple months ago. Saves time not having to change batteries and don't have to climb ladder to change battery. Win Win for me!!

The solar panel is great, when it works! So, I have one installed on one side of the house, and I haven't had to re-charge batteries yet (a month or so after installation). The second panel did not properly charge the battery, and I have had to re-charge batteries about 2 weeks after installation. I am not sure if the second panel need relocation, or if the batteries are not being properly charged. Overall, I do like the product.

When we first setup our Ring camera and solar panel the charge in one battery was about 80% and the other was just taken out of the box (i.e., near zero). In less than a week both batteries were charged at 100%. If you don't want to worry about the batteries in your camera running low I would highly recommend the solar panel. I was surprised how well this worked!

I have 2 batteries in my Ring spotlight and I continuously had to take one out and charge it. The solar panel keeps both charged at 100% and it's not in direct sunlight all the time. This saves me a lot of time by not having to take 1 battery out and charge it overnight then put it back in. I highly recommend this solar panel.
