Bought this in conjunction with our Ring camera. Didn't want to just rely on battery. So far (about a month now) works like a charm - at least we think it's the solar charging the unit. Super easy set up by my husband.

The solar is for my ring battery camera. It’s really worth it. Very convenient since the camera is outdoor backyard I don’t have to change battery every month using a ladder! My camera is always full charged. Thanks to ring very neat!

Easy to install. Make sure to have an extra set of hands around just in case. Stupid little screws. Haven’t noticed any sun damage on the plastic. Will put to rest here in a couple months.

I needed to have a an attachment to help me to reduce the amount of times that I have to change my batteries I found that the more that I have looked into my live viewing the faster my battery died. With the solar panel it brings down the amount of times that I need to worry about my battery is being drained as result as long as there is sunlight it recharges my batteries in excellent I need a device for any ring security system.

I was tired of pulling the ladder it to change out the battery in my spotlight cam every two weeks, so I bought the solar panel. Now, the battery is almost always at 100% and haven't had to charge the batteries at all. Highly recommend!

I use this with my stick up cam from Ring and it works perfectly. Easy to install in the camera and on the exterior wall of my home. It comes with everything you need except the drill. Ring makes it very easy.

So far so good -This really seems to keep the ring camera charge without me having to constantly take the battery down and charge it up. I think it was a pretty smart purchase

I definitely highly recommend this for your ring cameras. I was charging every couple of weeks, now I stay at 100% rain or shine. Definitely worth the investment.

Bought this to power my stick up camera. Will install it when the weather gets nicer.

Purchased this to add to Ring spotlight camera as we were installing it a little high and didn't want to get a ladder to change battery. Will be purchasing a couple more for other cameras .

Purchased this solar panel to keep a ring battery operated outdoor camera charged instead of having to remove battery & charge it. The solar panel is doing a good job keeping my battery charged.

Incredibly easy to setup. Really helped when we had intermittent power during the winter storm. The only issue was due to the Internet going out I had to unplug and pull out the batter to activate the stick up cam.

A must if you have no power outlet. I have two hooked up to two cameras . I’ve never had to change any batteries. I highly suggest this if you don’t have a outlet for yours . You will of course Need to put it where it’s gets sun.

DEFINITELY recommend for the Ring Spotlight...the battery life is incredible with this added on...we have a couple that are not located anyplace to be able to add this on and the batteries do not last like they do with this added.

The solar panel was a great addition to the Ring Cam. The battery pack stays charged without having to remove it from the Cam housing. Even with the colder temps, it has been functioning.

I kept wondering if these little solar panels would be strong enough to power my heavily used Ring security cameras... They did! And fast too! Good buy in my opinion! Only thing that makes me wonder anything about it, is how tough of a sun/weather beating these will take? But I suppose for the price, you can just buy new ones as these deteriorate... :/

As long as you place it in an area that it can collect sunlight, it will charge the battery. Ring makes great products, I have multiple products from them. Solar panel is great, it is nice it will charge that battery for you.

The Ring solar panel works really well. I have had it installed for over a year without any issues. It has been through every kind of midwestern US weather and continues to work perfectly.

Solar panel for my Ring stickup cam has not disappointed! Battery has stayed charged to 100%. If you have to go with a battery, I highly recommend getting a solar charger. Very easy setup!

We purchased this to go along with our wireless Ring camera and it’s so much better than buying an extra battery and having to go through the hassle of taking out batteries and recharging them.
