This is very convenient in order for the batteries to stay charged. No need to take out batteries physically to be charged.

Easy to install, nothing to do but put it up and plug it in. The thought of having to go out in the winter and take the battery out, charge it then go back out in the cold to re-install the battery is worth the investment. I have 1 of these facing due-east and the other facing due-west and they keep the cameras charged without worry. I live in NE Ohio and these have kept the cameras charged on the cloudiest, short winter days so far.

Please read my reviews under the hardwired ring doorbell as well as the ring Camera because all of the information cross-references. I purchased this charging solar panel so that I only have to use the one battery that comes with my camera and I don't have to worry about downtime and security breaches with having the battery run out of charge which then takes a full 6 hours to recharge! With the solar panel I have my One (1) battery that came with my camera installed even though there is space for two (2) batteries only one is needed and this solar panel is supposed to continue to keep the charge up to the correct level of operation for the camera. The solar panel comes with quite a long cord that does attached directly to the back of the camera so it doesn't have to be mounted right nearby even though I chose mine to be that way and have it angled hopefully for the best Sun range.

This is a must have if you get any ring wireless devices. I was first worried that I wouldn’t get enough sun light because of how my house is situated between trees, but it gets direct light for about half the day and always keeps my camera and light charged and ready to go. Set up was less than 20 minutes and it was easy to check the app to see if it was charging the battery. Definitely worth the money so I don’t have to worry about having to charge the battery or run a hard wire line to the electrical.

This is a great addition to the wireless systems as you never have to recharge the battery. It allows mounting options in places where recharging a battery would be a pain. The cable is long enough to mount the solar panel some distance from the camera mounting location, but I ended up having to coil the extra wires around the mounting bracket. I wish the cable was more customizable, but that is being super picky and shows I'm a bit OCD.

I like this solar panel for my ring camera. Saves time having to charge the battery and less worry when you’re away from home.

This has a very limited use, only for two models of Ring cameras. I suppose this could be used for something else with some hacking... It keeps the camera charged very well. It's light weight and easy to install. It's a bit noticeable, but not terribly unsightly. It sure beats replacing batteries on mounted cameras. There are generic or third party solar panels for a bit cheaper, but the price difference is small enough I'd rather play it safe with the manufacture's brand.

I've had this charger for a couple years now and it's still running strong.
