Worth every penny for ease and convenience..

Never have to charge the battery again

It also helps if you are able to mount your panel where it gets direct sunlight (no different than home solar installations)

It's waterproof and weatherproof and allows you to add a camera anywhere outside your house as long as you have a wifi signal.

Understand that Ring batteries often do not accept a charge in colder climates. That disclaimer is not clear when they sell these in colder climates. The panel works as expected, but not always in winter.
