Q: Can you use multiple cameras on 1 solar panel?
A: Order 2 - 1.35 mm x 3.5 mm DC plug power extension cords. Splice together to create a Y cable. Plug into solar panel cord and two cameras, they charge fine. I have 2 solar panels and 4 cameras set up like this.

A: Some of the Old Solar Panel might have factory defect which I experienced recently that is why I uninstalled it and send it back for replacement. Now, the Solar Panel has been charging well. I hope this helps..
A: THe solar pa el does keep both batteries charges fully even in high traffic situations
A: Appears to be around 5 or 6 feet solar panel to attachment end.
Q: Could I use the solar panel and internal battery at the same time? For the ring security cameras
A: The solar panel is intended to be used along with the internal battery (as the camera would be offline approximately 50% of the time if purely run solar with no internal power source). Make sure to purchase the specific solar panel for the battery camera and not the stickup camera as they feature different external power connections on the solar panel.
Q: How long does a solar panel last before you have to replace it
A: Reading a previous response to this question, it looks like it just depends. I purchased and installed my Ring Spotlight Cam with Solar Panel package back around end of 2020. I had also purchased a third party brand gutter mount bracket for my solar panel. Here’s my repsonse regarding the longevity of my Ring components: Ring Spotlight Cam: Original cam lasted about 1 year 7 months then the cam's WiFi died. I bought a new cam (2nd cam) to replace it. So far after a little more than half a year the second cam is still working fine. Ring battery: I reused the Ring battery from the defunct original spotlight cam in the replacement spotlight cam along with the new battery that came with the new spotlight cam (so I have two batteries in the spotlight cam). The original Ring battery is still good after over 3 years. Ring Solar Panel: The original Ring solar panel stopped charging the batteries after a little more than 3 years and need to be replaced. I'm on my second Ring solar panel now. So surprisingly, the original Ring battery has lasted the longest. My original Ring solar panel lasted about 3 years. The original Ring spotlight cam lasted about 2-1/2 years.
A: No it does not get plugged in. The cord is to connect it to the devise. I love ours. We have one of our stickup cameras connected to it
