I had replaced the battery ring camera and solar panel thinking they were both defective. When I installed both with new ones and the weather warmed up, it charged. Today was sunny in the high 30’s and only read Connected in grey versus green (which indicates charging). I would have been better off buying an extra battery.

Posted .Hi Robert, I know it can be frustrating dealing with environmental factors that are out of your control. Cold weather can have unfortunate effects on the batteries used by Ring Cameras. This would also impact how efficiently the Solar Panel can trickle charge the battery.
