Regardless of all the itunes hype, the guys are back and deliver a great set of songs. I'm biased cause I was a fan before son gs of innocence. The music is good, the content is good. The deluxe edition disc 2 is sweet and has a wonderful hidden treasure at the end. Worth the few dollars. If you like any U2 song, you'll like these. If you're the type that won't make the effort to listen this or any full album more than 3 times, then I suggest you continue playing songs online that other people like. U2 is arguably the biggest band in the world, so there isn't much I could say here that hasn't already been said. I'll just say that despite the whole iTunes fiasco surrounding this album's release, if you can see past that, and U2's politics which often overshadow the music, you will find this is a very solid album, much in the vein of their previous efforts. Also, if you're a U2 fan, I would still recommend picking up this deluxe CD addition, as it includes several bonus tracks not available on the free iTunes version.

I was thrilled to receive this album for free, and even happier to have a general release with additional tracks. U2 is an awesome band and we should all be saying "thank you".

Easily the best U2 album since Achtung Baby! I've listened to it endlessly since it arrived, from top to bottom without skipping a song, a first for me since Achtung in regards to U2.
