    I personally don't think this is like the old school sonic. I haven't played it myself but watching my boys (5 and 6 1/2) play it, it's not the same old school game concept. I personally don't like this and my boys try to play it and don't quite grasp it. Might be that they are too young for it still but santa got them a Nintendo switch for Christmas so we wanted a variety of games. Especially since they have played the old school version on the Sega.

    Overall the game is good but kind of hard for kids under 5 my son is 4 and pretty good at games but some levels are pretty hard .but overall great for the price
