I had quite a bit of hope for this Sonic game, hoping it was going to be a sequel to Sonic Generations, but this was not the case. I liked the idea of having a custom avatar, but ultimately it just feels awkward and being forced to use it is kinda annoying. No real difficulty to the game and tired of the "press button to speed through the stage practically invincible!" gameplay... I don't return games, even ones I don't like, simply for a collection. That being said, I tried to return the game, unaware that they couldn't refund me, just what the trade value was worth. So I kept it and it gathers dust.

Sonic is about speed. Abrupt left to right movement in this game-1/10. Auto targeting-0.3/10. Story-0.1/10. The speed in which it took me to put it down-11/10.

I have heard A LOT of bad things about this game. Honestly, if you can pick it up on the cheap, it's a fun few hours. Don't buy in at full price.

Sonic Forces showcases that the Sonic franchise can't be consistent. The gameplay to the controls may be the worst of the franchise.
