I bought this as a Christmas present for my kids. They love Mario and are discovering Sonic.

Sonic is still the blue blur but I guess the developers wanted to add a story to something as simple as sonic. The story was a decent attempt but not great. Each stage was about as fun as a mobile game (app) level. Too much to do and not enough incentive to do a lot it. Decent voice acting and somewhat fun gameplay. Maybe I’m complaining because I’m not the biggest Sonic’s fan and only play the OG sonic stuff and sonic heroes. But it just wasn’t today impressive

This game feels like an action rpg instead of the regular Sonic Platformers.

My youngest son has this game and he will not stop playing it. He really likes it.
