The best sonic game in a looong time! great gameplay, the graphics looked great (i like pixels). and amazing replay value. i have been waiting for the return of the super peel out forever. believe me, you will love playing this game

This game brings so much memories back to my childhood. Sonic is back with new stages, characters and overall excitement. I love the new settings and atmosphere this game has. If you love sonic you gotta get this masterpiece.

Sonic was a game I didn’t play much as a kid because I didn’t have a Genesis. But, over the years I’ve come to play Sonic a great deal- he’s almost as iconic as Mario! This game is both nostalgic and forward thinking. Pick up a copy today.

My 4 year nephew enjoys watching Sonic on the iPad so I felt he would love the game for his switch and I was right. He opened his gift on Christmas morning and ran to get his switch to play it immediately. That alone made my entire Christmas.

Loved the game when it first came out, but my brother is an avid collector and I was overjoyed to see a physical copy release for his collection. As for the game itself, it's a wonderful nostalgia trip celebrating the history of classic Sonic.

If you liked the old 2D games this is an amazing re-imagining of not only the levels but also gameplay of that era. The tiny art book is cute but not necessary and you should check out youtube for the animated shorts they made as a tie in for this.

Grandson loves Sonic, LOVES him so this was number one on his Santa list. We played it for two days straight until he went home and he still plays it at his home. Great game. Grandson is seven years old but has no problems with this game.

I haven't played much of it yet but it does have a strong nostalgia feel to it, with different levels.

Was happy to pick this up for $29.99. It includes the game with an extra game mode featuring 2 additional new characters, and a very nice Art Book as well. Also has a reversible cover paying homage to the Sega Genesis Sonic box art.

Wow, what a fun game, It brought me waaay back when I used to challenge my brother on his Sega Genesis. I was immediately transported to the room we played in. It was also fun to share this game with my son. He thought it was cool!

I never owned a MegaDrive back in the 90's but played Sonic on Dreamcast and then replayed older games. This is an awesome package full of retro goodness. I love the reversible cover and art book the game itself has a ton of content too.

If you like Sonic, this physical switch edition will undoubtedly please. With gorgeous cover art (which reveals a reversible Genesis cover) and an added art book, this is game that will look good in your collection.

This game is so good I bought it twice! I owned this digital already, but when the physical release came out I knew I had to have it. If anything else just to support this game even more. Wonderful old school sonic game.

My 5 year old just had to have this. Once I watched a video of what it was, I had to have it. Very similar if not the same as the old Sega game. We both love taking turns playing it. Great game and a must buy.

It’s been a long time since we’ve been able to say that a new Sonic game was good. And now here we are. Sonic Mania is incredible and a throwback to the glory days on genesis. Plus adds a lot to the mix and is well worth it.

Sonic Mania Plus is an enhanced version of the Sonic Mania game that released digitally last year. For this release not only have they made the game physical with an old school Genesis reversible cover but they have included an art book with characters and designs from the game. The game now has Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the Flying Squirrel as playable characters and a new Encore mode which can be played with any character and they added Angel Island Zone to the game. There are several improvements and other features added to the game including new bonus levels. Overall Sonic Mania Plus is the type of game I wish the 3D Sonic games would take notes from. If you are an old school Sonic Fan you will love this game. It is a love letter to all things 2D Sonic.

I am glad I waited on this collection of sonic because it is a great collection. The graphics look great on the switch and its a ton of fun to play. The new characters are great and I can't wait to dive in and play more.

If you are a fan of the golden era of Sonic (Sonic & Knuckles, Sonic 1, 2 and 3) than this is the game for you. Classic Sonic is back and better than ever. Finally Sonic gets the nostalgia trip that he deserves!

This game is a throwback to the classic Sonic games. Simple but tight controls, fun level design and a sense of momentum unlike any other platformer. If you love the Genesis Sonic games then get this game ASAP.
