This was a great game last year, and it still remains a high point in Sonic games this year too. The Switch 2 version is a great effort. Sonic Generations is a silky smooth 60 FPS and a razor sharp 1440p resolution, meanwhile Shadow Generations is much lower resolution unfortunately, but it runs at a great 60 frames which is better than the PS4 version. Only downside is the lack of an upgrade path for Switch 1 owners. Very disappointing on that front, but if you’re a first time player this is the definitive experience on the go.

One of the best sonic games ever, and it's two. Sonic generations is endlessly replayable and the new shadow story is super fun as well.

Very happy with the handheld performance of this on the switch 2! Shadow’s campaign is a great addition to an already awesome game!

Game is fun and runs at higher framerates at some sections, but it's unfortunate that SGEA have not opted to offer even a paid upgrade path. This game released on switch so recently it's a strange and selfish decision.
