This product works and sounds awesome! I moved into a new home with previously installed outdoor speakers and the configuration of the wires wasn’t quite right for me to use my existing setup. Previously, I used a Sonos connect plus a separate amp, which worked fine, but didn’t fit well. Not only was the new setup easy and the space worked, but the sound is even better than the previous system. Highly recommend!

This is my second Sonos Amp. The first one I bought was an open box item that I bought from Best Buy. I couldn't get the open box one to connect to my home wifi so I returned it for a new one.
The new one is awesome. It recognized my home network and set up was completed within 3 minutes on the Sonos app.
I bought this to use with my Klipsch outdoor speakers on my deck. At first I thought it was overkill but the sound is tremendous. The Sonos Amp also connects with any music account you have like Pandora, Sirius and Youtube Music. I haven't added my Iturnes library, but that is next.
Initially I thought I wanted an affordable blue tooth enabled received to power the speakers but I went with Sonos for a couple reasons. First, blue tooth has limited range. I am able to connect to the Sonos amp via my phone and walk around my yard (about a half acre) and never lose connection. Also, music can play while I take a phone call on my phone.
I also looked into a more expensive receiver with wifi but in my research I learned the speakers wouldn't be optimized as the more expensive receivers are configured for surround systems. Also, the second zone on a multizone receiver doesn't play digital music so then you need to get into a bunch of digital to analog connectors (I went down this road before and it worked, but wasn't optimal).
This Sonos Amp solved all my issues. I recommend it highly.

I purchased an open box Sonos amp to go with my Sonos soundbar. It was described as excellent and looked like the box had been opened and then returned. It took some time to reset the amp back to factory settings and pair it to my network as it had already been paired to a different system. Once it was done, the amp worked perfectly. I rated the amp as excellent, as it is, but more testing / troubleshooting of the unit should have been done to return the product to excellent condition. I spent over an hour on the phone with Sonos customer service, almost to the point where Sonos said there was an issue with the amp. Thankfully the Sonos tech was able to correct the issues and I have a great amp for my rear speakers.

Perfect diy distributed audio system. Replaced an old speakercraft system with volume knobs through out the house. Now I have multiple amps to power multiple rooms and control everything from my phone.

We had Magnolia install our sound system. We love the APP. It is great to be able to stream music using a pretty easy to use APP. We are listening to music much more now that the sound is awesome and it is easy to play. We'd highly recommend Sonos products. They are not inexpensive, but they produce high quality sound and are easy to use.

I had an old Russound system controlling all the built in speakers inside and outside my house. It was getting archaic with wall control units vs using iPhones or iPads to control each zone with multiple music sources. I ended up purchasing 6 of these Sonos receivers with four speakers max per zone and live the functionality. Expensive, but did the job well.

The amp is well built. The sound, at least to me, was clean and not distorted. The amp had no problem providing adequate power with connected Sony Core bookshelf speakers. For me, and the reason I returned, was that I prefer a dedicated center channel in a theater home setup rather than a phantom center.
I would overall recommend if you don't mind no dedicated center channel output.

Very smart device. I have 4 wire ceiling speakers, a sub, and 3 sound bars connected this amp. I can play them all at one time or individually if I chose and operate it all from my smart device. Pretty cool.

Difficult to set up for the average person. Sonos app is not intuitive. Lacks enough bass without adding bass unit. Using Sonos app to stream music works better that using other streaming services. Blue tooth portable speaker doesn’t switch between wi-fi & blue tooth without losing wi-fi setup. System has too many technical challenges. Sound bar & second speaker work great.

I recently purchased the Sonos Amp 250W amplifier as well as the Sonance 4 Pair Stereo Speaker Selector. I am extremely satisfied with the purchases. They both work remarkably. The set up was very easy and the sound and functionality is amazing. Thank you Best Buy and Bryan M. for the great recommendation of this system.

Very easy to setup and control from app on phone. I like the ability to connect the different rooms through out the house as well as connecting the outdoor system.

One of the best purchases I made in 2020. Sonos is a great system that integrates very well with my music selections and my TV/video system. This amp easily powers my Beam, Remote Speakers through-out the house, and my portable Move Speaker that I use on my back deck. It is a bit expensive, but I highly recommend this product!!!

Huge upgrades over previous model. Upgraded from the previous Connect:Amp that I'm using with a pair of in-ceiling speakers. Not only more power per channel, but the addition of Airplay 2 is great. Price is a little high, but I picked it up when it was on sale.
Like all SONOS hardware, easy setup and configuration - out of the box and working in 5 mins.

Great amp, love the sound, love the coolness of sync multiple amps for different zones and being able to control the volume and sound input per zones or sync all the zones for the same music everywhere! Downside, supposed to be only for 2 speakers. I wish there was a bigger Amp that have multiple zones in the same amp not having to buy 1 amp per zone

I like the audio quality of the amp. What I hate is the app. Before installing, write down and preserve the serial number and code, it's the eight-digits on the back.. Keep it in a safe place. At some point, you will need it after the app locks you out of the amp.
