Don't buy if you just want an amp without the app

What a mistake. First, there is a 2-second delay in the audio, so watching any video is a pain. Second, the amp is paired with a phone app, which I don't need and don't want. One day I discovered there was no sound at all until I opened the app, which I never used, and found I need to click on the play! Even the Marantz Cinema 60 Receiver I installed on the same day for my home theater does not need an app, so this little amp is out-smarting the customer; I need my phone and the app turned on just to listen to audio? What if I'm not home, or left my phone somewhere?

Fine for stereo but be wary about TV w/o soundbar

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I intended to set up ALL-SONOS two channel system for TV and stereo using Sonos Amp with subwoofer connected to new 2024 "frame" Hisense TV. No matter what I did the ARC cable connected to AMP caused issues on the Hisense side. I ended up ditching SONOS and buying bookshelf speakers and a 2-channel streaming amp (with HDMI-ARC) and the ARC connection worked instantly. I'm sure that for just 2 channel stereo the Sonos would have been great with the sonos stereo speakers but since it didn't also work with my Hisense 2024 "frame" tv I had to give up on it and return it.
