Love this soundbar!

If you aren't a huge bass head, the built in sub is enough to get the job done without adding an actual sub. Mine is currently paired with the Era 100's as surrounds in a average size living room and it's more than enough for us. the set up was really easy as well, the app walks you through everything.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sound quality vs original ARC....I wouldn't say the quality is better per say..definitely not better for music, however there is a noticable difference in the clarity of speech when watching movies. The sound stage also definitely seems wider. When I initially hooked it up I was a bit disappointed vs my old ARC but after a few days of getting used to the signature , I now believe it to be better for movie watching at least.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the greatly improved clear dialogue now is well worth the upgrade from an Arc !! typical conversations always sounded soft to me, difficult to hear over background sounds but after finally getting it working and tuned, I am impressed !! I have a sub and One SL surrounds… it’s a deeper, fuller sound that really fills my room. Conversations sound great now !! upgrading was not smooth, make sure you remove any surrounds and subs from the Arc in the Group you’re using before upgrading to the Ultra… next I’ll upgrade the surrounds to 300s !

Voice clarity is awesome, even when the movie sound mixing is subpar. Great at separating voices from background music. Sounds like a home theater. Listening to music stations sounds like being at a concert. Looks like it was made for our 55”LG OLED UHD TV. Exact same size. So pleased!

Do keep in mind it has only an arc input and can only play in the Sonos sandbox. That being said, if you can stomach the price, you should be pleased with the product

The bass was crazy from just a sound bar, the clarity was A1. I can see people getting just the sound bar and be really happy bass heads like me went all in with 2 subs and a pair of 300's im just as loud as studio movie grill..

The Arc Ultra is definitely worth the upgrade from previous Gen Arc. I purchased Sonos Era 300 pair for surround sound. These speakers drowned out the Arc. Since adding Arc Ultra I now get to fully enjoy Smothness and Balance of my Arc system. The new Sound Motion Technology built into the New Arc is what really sets this device apart from previous Gen. The base and treble is very balanced now. You can definitely tell the difference if you’re on the fence about upgrading.
