Does its job very well

Additionally, I can connect to the internet through the Bridge on my android phone using SonosNet (I don't have wifi, and I get TERRIBLE cell signal). It's a small little box, but I wish they offered it in black as well.

Love this sound system!

I don't know how it does it and I really don't need to know how. It's kind of like electricity - you flip the switch and lights come on - I don't need to know how it happens, just that it does! Without the bridge each speaker has to be plugged into something besides an electrical outlet. The bridge means we can keep adding speakers whenever we want - how awesome is that?!

If your speaker(s) will be permanently used away from the router, this is a must have item. Even if you are going to place speakers in the same room, I recommend the bridge so you can move the speakers to other areas of the house temporarily,
