Must have accessory with your Play:3 or Play:5

I've had a Sonos bridge for a month now, and I can't imagine not having it with my Play:3. The bridge is aesthetically pleasing, and the range is great. I have it plugged in in the front corner of my 2,000 square foot home, and I have a clear signal to use my Play:3 throughout the house and into the back yard. Due to my experience with this device I plan on purchasing another Play:3, the Sonos Playbar, and the Sub. Very easy to use, and the sound quality is great.

Figured I would try Sonos after the Samsung M7 and M5 failure that I experienced. I returned that system and bought a Play 1, Play 3, Play 5, the sub, and the bridge. It took me all of 20 minutes, if that to set it all up. I place the Play 1 in my bathroom, the Play 3 in my kitchen and my Play 5 in the lounge, and was not sure where I waned the sub. After one afternoon I returned to BestBuy and purchased two more Play 1's, another Play 3, and the Soundbar. I paired the two Play 3's in the kitchen for a great stereo set. I moved the sub to my room and withe the Soundbar and the two new Play 1's set up a surround sound system. I am in love.

    Excellent System

Bought this Bridge to begin a Sonos system for whole home. I am incredibly happy that I ended up choosing Sonos (bought the Playbar for the living room). The setup is so simple and you'll be using the system in no time flat. As well, you can add access to any smartphone or tablet through your App Store in a minute or two by simply pressing the main button on the Bridge when asked by the software...everything else it automatic. This Bridge is a mandatory item to begin the Sonos system. The downside is that I feel with the price of the other Sonos products, they could dang near give you the Bridge since you must have it to make this system work. It's not that $50 would break me, but I'm paying $700 for a soundbar (without sub no less) and you're popping me $50 to make it work. In the end, the Sonos system is really cool. I love that there's no "hard wired" parts per se (power cords or optical for tv). I can move speakers to any room...any time and have music playing differently everywhere!

Very easy to set up Wireless sound system

The Sonos system is so easy to set up. Plug it in and click a few settings. That's all. I bought the Connect to add my existing receiver and speakers to the system. Works great. I added some Play3 speakers to other parts of the House. I love how I can controll all my systems on my iPhone or IPad. My husband even found a Blackberry app (He's old school.) I can now controll my sound system from anywhere in or out of the house. The Sonos system let's you play the same thing or diffent things in each room. I am very happy. Now I can be out at the pool listening to Pandora and I don't have to go in to change anything.

This product works great for my Sonos Play5 on my patio. Sad that a $400 speaker isn't wireless built in anyway. However, I understand why this bridge is needed if you have multiple speakers. Works well and easy setup,.

    Sonos is Phenomenal!

The Sonos music system is currently my all-time favorite electronics buy. (My last all-time favorite was the Tivo recorder when it first came out!) Sonos allows different music streaming in different rooms of your home -- seamlessly with beautiful controls by iPhone, iPad, computer or Sonos' optional own hardware controller. Any radio station on earth with an internet stream (yes, from Greece, Iran, Ireland, you name it!) free. If you have Pandora or Rhapsody or Slacker or any internet service (all of em: Mog, Spotify, LastFM, etc., etc.), then you have it in different rooms as you wish. If you have iTunes, you have access as well. Unlike its competitors, it is elegant and extremely simple to hook up and roll with. Updates with more features continue and also seamlessly and without additional charge. I bought this bridge to use with a portable S5 in my office, after having many rooms at my home hooked up. I don't know ANYONE who has purchased a Sonos that isn't in love with what it brings to the party, or the home or the office! And, I have NO relationship with this company at all. It earns your praise over and over!

The Bridge works flawlessly, in a 3500 sq ft home all of our speakers work great. We can even pick up the signal on our deck if we decide to take a speaker outside.

Great sound. Easy to instal (iif you are a little used to computers). I got a Play5, a Play3, a Zone Player and a Bridge. Only the Zone Player brought me a little problem to work with my Home Theater. Nothing too hard to solve. I`ve tryed to control it from Galaxy S II, notebook, iPhone and iPad. All OK. Telling again, Fantastic!!!!!

It does it's job - keep in mind you need a bridge to get the WiFi connection to work for any of the Sonos products. My only concern is that the range isn't the greatest - but it looks like they fixed that with the next generation model. Handles a playbar, sub and 2 play:3s just fine.

The Sonos Bridge is extremely small and compact. It's one button setup couldn't be easier and the system has worked flawlessly each and every time. The Bridge and Play:3 were my first experiences with Sonos and after a few days of use I'm a huge fan now. Currently looking to purchase another Play:3 a Play:5 and Connect:Amp for other rooms in my home.

Picked up the Sonos bridge and the unit that connects to a stereo tuner amp on recommendation of a colleague. This couldn't have been easier to implement - it is too bad every other wireless device doesn't work as easy as the Sonos gear! Pretty much just connect it to your network - load the software (I downloaded the latest from their web site) and press the button on the top of the unit. Even the firmware upgrade is simple and automated. Adding additional Sonos units is painless as well. I have this setup operating on the 2 GHz WiFi network on channel 1 whilst my normal data network is on channel 11 (so they don't interfere with each other). Extremely easy to access my iTunes library or one of thousands of Internet radio stations.

The SONOS sytem is unbelieveable with all of the options for music streaming, radio stations, etc. Well worth the money and a snap to set up! Stays connected and several different ways to get it to 'pair' with other SONOS components

    Solved My Issues

By installing this bridge, my speakers now work throughout the house due to the dedicated network this created. Before one on the other side of the house would not work as they were too far away. I do not use a speaker near my router so the bridge was the best option to solve my issues. This product worked flawlessly.

We needed to play music from our Network Attached Storage drive on speakers located outside. My wife's main requirement was 'it needs to be easy to use.' After talking with a Magnolia employee, it was clear the Sonos system was what we needed. Connecting the Bridge and Amp to our network took 10 minutes, and we had music outside. Controlling the system is done via apps on our tablet, MP3, or phone (all are Android, but the same app is available for Apple products). We've since added a Play 3 speaker, which can play the same music or different music simultaneously as the outside speakers. Since its connected through the router, it also has access to Internet radio. I definitely recommend this product, even though it is a bit pricey.

Easy setup with a MAC and iPhone. Was worried about using wifi without Bluetooth. I was surprise with the range and clarity that the system provided. A little strange how you create play list from your iTunes library. However when using an iPhone it's no issue. Like the I could purchase additional speakers and set them up for different sections within my home.
