Bring Your Ole Stereo System into the Modern Era
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this Sonos Connect offering. Being more mature in the age area I have more than one Amp and Speaker set that I still like and this "Sonos Connect" allows me to fully integrate the ole system with my whole house Sonos System. Further, I have used one to control a Yamaha Sound Bar & Sub Woofer System were my wife did not want to see a stereo amp sitting in the living room; so I buried it behind my flat screen tv to control the sound bar for music and TV. Awesome Job Sonos! I highly recommend a Sonos Connect for any integrated home system where you want to reach out to Pandora, iHeartRadio, SirusXM... and play them on your home system.

Great Product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have outdoor weatherproof speakers wired to an indoor audio receiver and was looking for a way to tie in the digital music on my Sonos.to that system. This worked perfectly hooked it up to the indoor receiver in about 20 minutes. Added to my existing Sonos speaker Bridge in minutes works perfectly.

Great for ceiling speakers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We got this for more than a year now and it is still one of the best investments we spend on our new house. It keeps our room clutter free and music at our finger tips. We have our TV sound route to 3.5 mm input and get TV sound everywhere we have our Sonos placed. Awesome for Superbowl party!

Easy to install; easy to use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Prior to having the Sonos' Connect, I was only using my sound system with my TV or would connect my phone to my system's receiver for music. This was quite inconvenient and I hardly ever used my system. Now that I've installed the Sonos Connect, my speakers are in use every day. I play music through the system and control it through my phone. The Sonos controller app also connects to the major internet radio services like Rhapsody, last.fm, Songza, etc. I was a little intimidated about installing it at first: the directions were a little vague but it was actually VERY simple. I also wish it was available in black. However, this is incredibly convenient and I'm beyond happy with it.

Solid build clean signal
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Connect provides adequate power for most audio applications. For us, we needed a way to play audio outside our business. We have four Play1s in the office so it made sense to use our existing audio infrastructure. We paired the connect with Bose Outdoor speakers and it made a great match.

Love the Sonos Connect
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got it to connect to an older receiver/amplifier. I did not know it also streams tons of content, including TuneIn radio, and my Major League Baseball subscription. Sonos' customer support was great; my wireless router was the problem. They emailed me 3 times to be sure all was ok.

Does what it’s supposed to
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Simple, straightforward product the does exactly what it’s supposed to. Control from a phone could be a little better but I’m planning to get an iPad and am hoping that will be a little easier to less tech-savvy users. Sound quality is pretty good as well. I have a number of Sonos pieces and the integration is flawless. Setup aims to be as smooth as Apple and sometimes is. I’ve had to pursuade Sonos items to set up properly a couple of times but it’s not too bad and once set up, they stay set up.

What to say about Sonos
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a long time Sonos fan and very early adopter. A Sonos system is so easy to set up and allows me to stream so many different formats of music though my house. This is my third Amp and I also have two different speakers. I would recommend Sonos to anyone who like their music

Ok but
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sonos connect works OK with the app however the volume from the connect is much lower than any other source that's plugged into the receiver. I have to crank the volume way up on the receiver in order to hear it. That's not good when switching from one source to another. I also feel that I am pushing my receiver much harder than I would like to.

If you enjoy music and like versatility buy Sonos
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the Sonos Connect to extend the capability of my existing audio system. I certainly was not disappointed!! The convenience of having control of my music selection and volume while sitting by the pool was great. It's a little pricey but is the best game in town.

Great. Easy to set up and has great sound
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this connect piece and hooked up to to my 2 zone Yamaha receiver. I also purchased one of the smaller Sonos speakers for my kitchen. I enjoyed it so much, the next weekend, I bought another small speaker for the bedroom. With the Sonos app, I now have a 4 zone system that can play the same music in each room! Kitchen, bedroom, living room and deck. One note- I still have to use the Yamaha app control on the deck volume, but otherwise it is seamless. I used an RCA connection from the Sonos Connect to the receiver. It's awesome and I should have done this years ago.

CONNECT for Patio Sound System
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I currently use SONOS in the house upstairs and down, but I wanted to utilize it outside on the patio by the pool. I have an existing amp in the garage connected to 4 outdoor speakers, so the CONNECT is what I needed. It was a simple setup with plug-and-play to the existing amp, but I did run into Wi-Fi issues even with the SONOS Boost. In fairness, the SONOS main setup is a good distance away from the CONNECT in the garage, so I added a Netgear Wi-Fi Extender midway between both locations. This did the job, and everything is good.

Best addition
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very reliable, easy set up and I love that it runs off of WiFi and not Bluetooth. Now my music isn’t inturrupted by a phone call.

Trouble Free Operation
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the Geek Squad install this for me, along with a major update to my home music system. I am using the input for my CD changer. The unit is basically invisible and trouble free, both at connecting my CD to Sonos units around my house, but also to any digital music sources I choose to listen to. Caveats: Connect can only handle one input at a time, so no turntable and CD changer at the same time, for example. Also it only plugs into my receiver via the front facing AUX port; works fine, but looks pretty unsophisticated.
