AMAZING!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently got enough points on my credit card to buy a Sonos Connect and Play 3 speaker. I have been looking at setting up a Sonos system in my house for years and I finally have a starter kit! The sound on the Connect is great! I have it connected to my home theater system via an optical cable. I can control the Sonos Connect with my iPhone, iPad, and computers. The setup is super easy, just a few button pushes and I'm up and running. The only thing I wish the Connect would do is turn on my stereo automatically when it starts to play music, but that might be too much to ask for. Overall, I am very happy with Sonos and plan on adding more components in the future.

Great Product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hooked it up to the receiver of our whole-house sound system, joined it to our Wi-Fi network, and we were good to go. Everything is done via a phone/tablet, so the whole process is wireless, except for the physical audio connection to the receiver. It's an expensive product, but well worth it! Only Downside: If you want to connect it to a different Wi-Fi network after you initially set it up, you have to physically hook it up to the new network's router via Ethernet. There should really be an option to "forget/delete" the existing network within the app and then be able to choose a different Wi-Fi network.

Sonos Connect Wireless is simple to use and works
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We used the Sonos Connect Wireless to upgrade our existing stereo and wired Bose speakers system, and the result is awesome! We can use our outdoor speakers with our online music and it brings our old but solid infrastructure into the way we access music now.

Whole house sound
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this Sonos Connect to link my 2-year old receiver/home theater setup with a couple of Sonos Play speakers. Easy setup and Sonos app is great. Pandora and XM on all the time. Super Bowl will be broadcast throughout the whole. Terrific for parties.

Fantastic Streameing Device
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have known about Sonos for a long time, and I finally had the chance to work with it at a relative's new house, and I was really impressed. I attached the Sonos Connect to the receiver for our whole-house music system, got it connected to our Wi-Fi network, and was up and streaming music in almost no time. The Sonos remote control app is simple and easy to use with only about a 10 minute learning curve. Great choice of music sources and radio stations, including satellite radio (if you already have a streaming subscription). I also connected my Airport Express router to the Sonos so that I can listen to my iTunes library through it via the Sonos line-in source using Apple's Remote app. The only downside (sort of) is that Sonos products are pretty pricey, but they are definitely worth it.

Works as advertised
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Other than the steep price, I got this so I could send the sound from the entertainment center out to the speakers on the patio. Works great, works every time. It is possibly user error, but my only gripe is if I'm listening to music on the patio and someone turns on the TV, the TV signal overrides my music on the patio. Tiny gripe, not significant.

Easily add hi-fi streaming to an existing stereo
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted to incorporate a hi fidelity steaming component in to an existing stereo system (Infinity Interlude speakers, Denon AV receiver). I also own a pair of Sonos Play 1 (Gen 1) speakers that are configured as a stereo pair. The Sonos Connect is hooked up via an optical audio cable to the Denon AV receiver. Once I configured the Connect as a new speaker in my existing Sonos network, I could play audio from any of my streaming sources (Amazon Unlimited, iTunes, Spotify, Tunein, iHeartRadio, etc.) and listen through my conventional home stereo system. The audio quality is excellent. As an added bonus, via the Sonos app (either on my iPhone or MacBook Pro) I can also pair the home stereo to the Sonos Play 1 stereo pair and stream to both systems at the same time. Amazon Alexa is built-in to the Sonos Play 1 speakers so I can also use Alexa on the Play 1s and listen to content through the Connect. This is very useful when I want to listen to a specific artist or track without fussing with an app on my phone or laptop. Sound quality is great with no buffering or fading since it uses wifi instead of BlueTooth. I am very pleased with how well the Connect integrates into my analog stereo system. It's easy to set-up and simple/enjoyable to use. Highly recommend.

Solid Product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Connect is a little pricey, but is absolutely essential for folks looking to add SONOS to an already existing component stereo system. This device not only allows me to listen to Spotify, my digital library, SiriusXM, etc. through my stereo setup, but also to broadcast my cassettes, CDs and vinyl to my SONOS speakers throughout the house. Truly great technology.

A must for vinyl lovers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this to hook up my analog record player and transform into wifi. Bought this and the Play 1 to start. 2 hours later and I was heading back to Best Buy to purchase more speakers. We now have speakers throughout the house. The connect has an 'uncompressed' setting for converting analog to wifi signal without losing too much of the warm rich sound of an analog vinyl album. Fantastic!

Great system for wireless music
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was a bit late getting into the wireless music systems, but I'm glad I did. The Sonos is easy to connect to your amplifier and home network, and it was straightforward to sync with my digital music files. I like the app interface a lot, and find it intuitive to navigate and add files to my library. It's also nice that the app can be installed on multiple devices so that it can be controlled from my phone or tablet. My only complaints are: 1) while it can play FLAC files, they're limited to 48kHz sampling rates and 16 bit files. If you're looking to play really hi-resolution files, look elsewhere; 2) a much more minor complaint, I wish the song progress was a slider across the bottom of the screen rather than having the volume there. All in all, I've been very happy with this purchase, other than the issue of hi-res audio file playback.

Sonos for your high end equipment.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just what you need to add the ease and convenience of Sonos to your existing equipment. A little overpriced, but now I can blast tunes in my theater and also use my receiver as a source for playing material on my other Sonos speakers. Great for listening to football games while chilling in the pool.
